Reception building lady was awfully rude when I tried to enquire about something because I wasn’t sure. Useless and disrespectful. Apparently “wasting her time”. Your job is to help residents and people with these questions. And yes I did call the right number I just got confused with the address and parking lots as it wasn’t clear. Don’t pretend it’s rocket science and requires a Masters Degree to show a modicum of respect. And politely say you don’t know. Yikes.

My husband, son and I decided to have a Staycation in Brisbane over Christmas. After looking at a number of Hotels we decided to book a 2 bedroom for 2 nights at the Astor Apartments. Our decision was mainly based on the location of the apartments and the pictures from their website. The location was great, within walking distance to the Queen Street Mall, sadly, the pictures are obviously old because our room looked nothing like the website. It is very misleading and disappointing when you pay $425 for two nights and the apartment is very outdated with stained carpets, uncomfortable beds and lounge

Our weekend city stay was perfect, we arrived a little later than we thought and we're given clear instructions on how to get into the car park and apartment. The apartment is very spacious and clean and such a good location, you can walk everywhere, the managers Denise and Stu were really pleasant and great to deal with! We highly recommend this place if you need a Brisbane City escape!!!

If you can avoid staying here do it at all costs . Room 304 is rundown outdated and dirty. I was charged a $200 "CASH" security bond . The receptionist couldn't understand my name or credit card details so I didn't receive my conformation email , I had to phone again the following day to reconfirm the booking and go through my details again . The air conditioning in the room is broken the room itself was filthy and out dated the curtains have holes in them and the outdoor table was falling apart . For the $250 per night I could have stayed two nights across the road at the Mantra Terrace where

We stayed on the 9th floor in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was very spacious, had its own full kitchen, washer & dryer, ensuite for the master bedroom as well as a large bathroom. It’s a little older but still a tidy apartment to stay at.
Location wise was great, everything in walking distance. The rate was excellent for the apartment size.
The only let down was the cleanliness of the room. My son found a sharp butter knife under the cushions on the lounge and my daughter found bottle caps and food crumbs. Some furniture was quite dusty, the room didn’t have a very clean feel to it.
