During the class you'll be shown how to make hand-stretched pizza, just like how we do it at Planar. Using freshly made dough, you'll stretch out pizzas, choose your favourite toppings & then bake them at the highest heat to get the characteristic hand rolled crust.

Great location and atmosphere for relaxing catch-up BUT lazy staff spoiled our experience. Our waiter was great but watching the bar girl on her phone for 20 mins while we waited for 2 basic drinks was frustrating and really not good enough - AND we were the only ones there! This was repeated for our second round. Once the new staff started the service vastly improved.

I chose this restaurant for the work Christmas party because a friend had been there and their meals looked great. However our experience was similar to what most of the comments on this page state; the food is fine but service leaves a lot to be desired. They failed to deliver one of our main meals, and when queried, confirmed meal had yet to be… cooked. Because everyone else had nearly finished eating they cancelled their meal and ordered chips. No apology, no offer of a free “meal or drink”. To make matters worse, when the bill arrived we had been billed for drinks from another

Good value for money Restaurant on the water. It was a warm day and the breeze was lovely. The seafood linguine was really nice and perfectly cooked but unfortunately the lobster linguine was only average (overcooked). Fish and chips was good. Looks like it would be a nice venue to have a drinks and cocktails.

The Planar needs to plan in future...The food was lovely but it's such ashame the service was terrible...the waiters had no idea what table the food was to be served to, one waiter was asked if they served light beer and he seemed to have absolutely no idea what that meant- the waiter responded you want a white or blonde beer 😳. Just generally appeared very unorganised and took ridiculously long to respond. Improve the service it will compliment the food.

Excellent food, disappointing service. I feel like the chef has nailed it, and is doing his or her job properly, but the waitstaff all need to be trained.
Our booking for two was on a Thursday night. I was left standing for ages at the 'Please wait here to be seated' sign when I first arrived, until another customer pointed me out to a waitress after my own attempts to get the waitress' attention failed. Once seated, it seems that each waiter isn't allocated their own tables, so getting any form of service was very haphazard. We ordered a drink each and a main meal, however when our meals arrived

Came here for as a treat for my birthday, the waitress we had was super nice and she walked us through the menu since it was our first here. Ordered the kangaroo and lobster, they were absolutely delicious and the meat were oh so tender! Dessert (pistachio dome) was pretty nice but might have been a bit too sweet for my taste.
Overall the food and service were on point 👌

Was bought here on a first date and the staff and atmosphere was incredible. So polite and humble. We really enjoyed their lovely personalities and the vibe throughout. Definitely a must to come down and visit this place. Food is incredible and pricing is good too, hard to find great Italian food these days but Planar is definitely one of them!

Loves the atmosphere here, and the people. They are a friendly bunch and food is great. They are quite busy to worth booking prior to your visits. The Pizza is really good and the staff knows what they are doing when they give you recommendations. Also if you request they do write happy birthday on the dessert plates. So will definitely suit a celebration.

Customer service was phenomenal. Even though we had to wait to place our food order (due to how busy the kitchen was) we were promptly informed by staff and attended to.
Sometimes hard to hear inside when it's busy - but is a great atmosphere.
If you're a dog lover, I recommend sitting outside because this place is dog friendly 🐕
