Came here with my partner for our anniversary last month and it was a wonderful experience. Great view of the Sydney harbour too.
Very friendly, welcoming staff and food was excellent. They catered for my partner's seafood allergy as well.
We both ordered the 10 course degustation and added their special honey comb, fig with goats cheese dish.
My favourite was their 'maremma duck' dish and 'mulberries' dessert dish.
Will recommend and come back.

Definitely the most iconic restaurant with Sydney view.
Great service and food quality.
Amazing for special occasions, but just make sure you eat before going into the restaurant, otherwise you will still be hungry even after their 8 courses menu 😅
Most of the plate only the size of 1-2 bites.
But the price is definitely not reasonable for 2 bites food even with the view.
I'm not comparing fine dining restaurant with a standard restaurant but I'm still thinking that restaurant is a place where you can come to ease your hunger, and not walking out and still feeling hungry.

I really enjoyed the degustation menu that was on offer on this day. The moo dish was certainly one of my favourite dessert dishes of all time. You certainly have to book far in advance but it was worth the once in a lifetime dining experience. Peter Gilmore and his team got everything spot on today. Yours truly @fooderarri

Flavour flavour flavour!
Price: $$$$
Location: The Rocks, Sydney
Atmosphere: Elegant
Food: Exceptional
Service: Excellent
Food Flavours: Deep, layered and mastered.
I took my sons for dinner here after the theatre and did not know what to expect.
The menu is set and beautifully paced. All you need to do is select the 6 or 8 course experience, relax and enjoy being indulged.
The food is magic in your mouth!
Peter Gilmore and his team’s palette and penchant for only using the highest quality ingredients and packing flavour into every delicious mouthful is evident with each dish.

I’ve always wanted to try the Quay because of all the great things I’ve heard about it and it did not disappoint. It’s definitely worth trying at least once. The service is impeccable, efficient and welcoming. They very much leave you to enjoy your meal in peace and respect your space. They’re attentive, ensure your table is cleared after a meal and pace the next dish shortly after to fully savour the taste.
The famous Snow Egg is even more delicious than it looks, it’s so creamy and the texture is unlike any dessert I’ve had before. The caramel and chocolate undertone in the Moo dessert

Food was fantastic, better than almost most fine dining I have been in Australia. Scenery facing the Sydney opera house. Well spaced out among the diners. Great atmosphere. Service was generally good for top restaurant except:
Bill came, was curious why the price stated was different from the menu price (include Easter and credit card surcharge). No issue paying it but was wondering the difference and the waiter sarcastically mention if we want to dine at Quay during public holiday to expect all the surcharges thus the 4 stars.

We were very lucky to get a last minute availability on a Friday night. Quay has it all: unbeatable view, impeccable service, perfectly executed & thoughtfully curated 8 course experience. The price point is no doubt steep ($290pp) but this has gotta be my favourite (fine dining) so far! Unlike other fancy establishments, they actually gave me an extra dessert, as a present for this birthday girl. We’re in LOVE and will be back again for another special celebration.
