El Camino Bowen Hills is amazing! If I could rate 10 stars I would. The service was exceptional and the food came out so quick, not to mention how delicious and fresh it tasted. Super fun for a night out, you can even add an extra shot to the the gigantic margaritas. A special mention to Natalia, my waitress who made our night extra special. Thank you so much! The level of customer experience was amazing, food came in a timely manner and it was absolutely well presented. We had ordered the Tex Mex fiesta, prior to ordering it we had got a tower, which they had cancelled and processed under the tex mex fiesta, instead of paying it separately, they took care of us and made sure we were okay, the frozen Mango magarita was hit. Came here for some drinks with friends on a Saturday night. Definitely need to have a reservation because it can get very busy, and we had to wait a while even when we had a reservation. The drinks here are well-priced and we could order contactless through our phones. The atmosphere is great, but can get quite loud with the music.

This was my first time at El Camino. And definitely my last visit.
There were no one at the door to welcome or guide you to the table, and no one telling you how their system work. I and the company behind me were told to find ourselves a table but it was pretty hard since no one hadn't cleaned or taken away leftovers from previous guests, in other words the place was messy and dirty.
At each tables is a me&u pay tap placed. I'm familiar with ordering through an app and get the orders to the table. I ordered a strawberry margarita and a naked burrito (vegetarian).
It took 20-30min

This felt just like Tex-Mex in the states. Some of the decor was a bit over the top american, but found it funny. The chips were all you can eat, and flowing out of the trunk of an old car for you to serve yourself. They use an online menu ordering system that we found a bit confusing at first. It was great when we finally figured it out but it took us a while to find someone to explain it to us. We had a quesadilla and a few tacos. All very delicious, and hit the spot.

Gianpaolo is the most beautiful Italian waiter I've ever met. A radiant personality and heavenly looks made him the perfect waiter that all other waiters should aspire to be. He took our orders with perfection and Mastered our drinks even with my mates difficult requests. This place is amazzzzzing and made even better by gianpaolo who definitely deserves a payrise. Y'all are lucky to have him.

Came here last night and had a great time. However, we tried to return tonight and the bouncers at the front of the alleyway area did not let my friend enter for being "too drunk" or "on drugs" when we had simply come straight from home 100% sober. I have strong reason to believe that these bouncers target based on ethnicity and are thus, blatantly racist. Another friend of same ethnicity has been denied entry to this area (also for the Argyle, not just el Camino) on multiple occasions -- all of which he was also sober for. This is truly unacceptable for a professional establishment

The fit out, location and atmosphere of the place are fantastic ... but the food itself is such a let down. Some of the poorest"Mexican" food you will find - tasteless, stodgy, bland and overpriced. The poppers were over-fried crap, the nachos were just bizarre with random carrots and tasteless, thin, plastic cheese sauce. The burrito was more like a cheap veggie wrap.
The drinks are fine as I'm into frozen fruity cocktails, so their margaritas fit the bill ... hence the two stars. Otherwise it'd be a one star review.

Since coming here from the states, I've been looking for a solid tacos and margaritas joint. This place fks. Prices are $2 a taco on Tuesday and HH deals from 7.50 from M-F. You can also add a extra shot of tequila for $4 which, i highly recommend, bc alcohol cures all your problems.

Stopped in randomly one night because it was Taco Tuesday! Was very happy with our decision. We were promptly served chips and salsa and we ordered drinks. The sangria I got was pretty good. The chips served with salsa were somewhat thick and slightly unappetizing. The menu is really cool! It's a record.

Oh Mexican food how I adore thee! I was really, really keen for some of my favourite cuisine especially after some Sydney friends told me about El Camino opening up at The Rocks. After a very intense meeting I grabbed my Mum and we took an Uber out so we could get try out this restaurant for ourselves.

I like the idea. Big, big, BIG Mexican joint but with quality food. Turned up during Vivid, so that was my funeral. No shortage of staff, but only one guy per 10 tables to TAKE the order.
Food was pretty good and actually quick from when ordered. Actually, our chicken fajitas weren't sizzling at all. Tasted fine though. Good selection of hot sauces.

I was looking forward to checking out El Camino hoping that they would help fill the void in Sydney for good quality Mexican food. I had three tacos with the house made corn tortillas plus the rice and beans add on. My partner had the burger. Unfortunately they have not hit the mark in delivering either authentic Tex-Mex nor California style Mexican food.
The tacos were bland (steak, pulled pork and chicken) and lacked quality taste. The chicken taco was very bland with no taste at all. The beans were very ordinary as well.
El Camino is new so hopefully they will continue to work on creating
