Services
First Dental Studio's long history dates back to the 1920s. It started out as a single-practitioner dental office, just a quarter of the size it is today. Dr Angelo Nicholas practiced with his nephew Dr Michael Mandikos for many years. As a lecturer at the University of Queensland, Dr Michael met many students and offered Dr Vincent Wan, the chance to come aboard at First Dental Studio.
At First Dental Studio, we work to improve your oral health, helping you achieve a smile that you're proud to show off. You'll see our dentists at each of your visits, as they perform all services for you themselves and won't offload you to a dental hygienist. We look forward to giving you the one-on-one attention you need!
Every time you visit First Dental Studio, you'll receive one-on-one attention from our dentists. Our philosophy is to be the best dentist in Brisbane by putting your dental wellbeing first. We strive to keep your dental appointments efficient and convenient. If we find that you present with a problem that we cannot manage in-house, we can refer you to a nearby specialist.

Appointments available until 7pm weeknights and open all day on weekends, Traveller's Medical Centre are equipped to assist with all aspects of vaccinations and medicals for international travel.Dr Linda Lewis was the physiotherapist to Queensland Ballet for many years and is now based in the CBD providing physio care for a range of muscular-skeletal conditions including sporting injuries.

I had been to 2 other dentist prior to finding First Dental Studio. Since finding them I have regular cleans, also had wisdom teeth extraction and a crown. My experience with previous dentist (also in the city) was that they didn't have the same care factor First Dental offers. This team really is the best I have found for price, service and care.

Best dental practice in Brisbane! I don't live near the city but it's always worth the trip to ensure my teeth are well taken care of.
Dr Vincent is my go-to dentist and has been for many years now. I've had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out, crowns and fillings done and every experience has been excellent. Vincent is always gentle and is thorough in explaining procedures before carrying them out. He's passionate about oral health and it shows.

Dr Vincent has been my dentist for many years. I really appreciate his philosophy of maintaining stable dental health. I have never felt pressured into treatment that was not necessary. Dr Vincent and staff are always friendly and make you feel at ease too. If you are seeking a dentist in the city I would highly recommend First Dental.

Dr. Wan is a Cadillac among dentists, the best dentist I have ever experienced in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres over 45 years. After moving to an offshore island, I travel back to the mainland CBD at significant expense and time lost to ensure I’m getting the best care. I strongly dislike and become anxious when having my teeth worked on at any level; but I have to say Vince makes it the best experience possible. Well done indeed .

Dr. Vincent Wan has been my dentist for quite a few years, since 4 years ago that I was working in Brisbane city. Although I don't work in the city anymore, I still take a 1 hour bus ride to go to the First Dental Studio for my dental work as I have always been impressed by their professionalism, friendliness, quality of work and flexibility in regards to costs and payments. I definitely recommend them to anyone who requires any dental work.

I just want to say a big thank you to Dr Allen Wan and his assistant for my check up, scale, & polish. I had a fluoride treatment and X-Ray too.
Dr Allen was friendly, polite, and informative, telling me what needed attention and the possible reasons for my sensitive tooth. He did such a great job cleaning my teeth, especially considering I haven't been the dentist in 2 years and I drink coffee/tea everyday (oops). I was a little nervous about how it would go and whether they would do a good job as it was my first time in this particular dentist but honestly the appointment exceeded my expectations
