Services
Precision Timing have a reputation for providing quality service and technical support for all prestige Swiss watches. We carry out both warranty and out-of-warranty repairs for many major Swiss brands in Australia. When sending your timepiece to us please ensure it is packaged securely and sent by either Registered Mail or Platinum Express Post.
It will completely depend on the type of repair or restoration and also wether you are located in Melbourne or Sydney. We're based in Melbourne but regularly provide services to customers in NSW. You will need to allow additional time for postal delivery. Major vintage or antique watch restoration projects - at least 10 working days (subject to sourcing of parts from around the world).
Pressure testing of a watch guarantees the integrity of the timepiece against the elements. We pressure test every time we have a need to open the watch, or when we believe the seal may have been compromised. Pressure testing is a standard procedure we undertake with virtually all servicing. Being a Swiss-accredited service centre means we will work closely to factory-recommended standards.
Without examining the watch, it is impossible to provide an accurate quotation. We find there are many perculiarities with vintage and antique watches - they all have their own history. We think that 8 out of 10 quotes on a repair or restoration becoming actual repair or restoration jobs.is a pretty good average.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness
Never open when they say they are, wont answer the phone so you can see if they are open before driving clear out there, then lie when I finally call and they say they are open until 3 today, only to stop at 230 and they are closed! Not worth the hassle to repair a watch! I will look elsewhere from now on!

Took my $375, stripped and reassembled the watch and it ran as bad as when I sent it. Real bummer. All talk and BS work. Don't waste your hard earned money. He never offered to make it right. You have to pay him in a way where there is no recourse. Hate to leave a bad review for anyone, but guy is not honorable.

I've had the good fortune to know the proprietor personally for over 40yrs. We attended school together. Even then it was obvious that he was a gifted genius whose talent would one day yeild a unique vision. Over the years RA Time has come to represent a culmination of the proprietor, his wonderful wife and their combined effort to provide the area with unrivaled service that few can provide. They are routinely entrusted with the restoration of priceless family heirlooms. Speaking of time, over the span of all these years I've never heard anything but positive remarks from so many satisfied customers

Drove 15 minutes from my house to this place specifically because of the good reviews. All I needed was a battery changed in my favorite watch. Hours online said open 10-5pm. Hours on the door said 10-5pm. Pull into parking lot at 4:10 pm and light are off and shop is locked up. As I’m pulling away I see someone behind the shop. I walk around back and meet the owner. He’s sitting on a lawn chair smoking a pack of cigarettes. I tell him I just need a battery changed. He tells me he’s closed for the day and come back on Thursday... with that kind of customer service I wouldn’t let him work
