Whatever the reason, our dedicated team can personally manage your project from start finish! If portable fire extinguishers are installed in your building they are required to be maintained in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000, to ensure they are fully operational in the instance of a fire.
Fire safety should never be taken for granted. In NSW, the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulations (2000) require ALL building owners, except for houses and non-habitable buildings, to submit an Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) to the local council and fire brigade. Failure to submit an AFSS certification could lead to hefty fines.
Smoke alarms are life-saving devices that provide benefits for occupants. They detect smoke well before any sleeping occupant would and provide critical seconds to implement actions to save life and property. Fire and Rescue NSW is encouraging residents to aim for a higher level of protection by installing interconnected smoke alarms throughout the property, (including hallways and stairways) and even the garage in their home.
