St-wise - that's Streetwise, not Saint wise - is an experienced town planning duo with over 22 years of combined experience and expertise, servicing all areas of Melbourne. We came up with the idea for a town planning consultancy over a debate about the true meaning of customer service.

Mandy has a strong commitment to achieving positive outcomes for every client. She maintains regular communication with clients from the outset of a new project to a final decision. As the Business Manager for St-Wise, Mandy has a deep understanding of town planning processes and works tirelessly behind the scenes to research and gather background information required prior to submitting an application.
Mark Waldon, Director of St-wise, holds a degree in urban planning and has extensive experience in town planning, economic development and negotiating with local government. With over 35 years of experience in statutory and strategic planning, Mark's work has involved managing town planning applications, representing clients in VCAT and appearing as an Expert Witness in VCAT.

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal makes final rulings on town planning applications when the developer and Council or other stakeholders are in dispute.
St-wise offers planning services for clients planning or currently building residential developments. While straightforward, single home builds will usually only require a permit, there are a number of residential developments that require the assistance of expert town planning services. Your development is to include new buildings, alterations or additions to a building in a heritage area.

Mark got us an approval from VCAT for a subdivision application that was previously refused by the Council. His submission was outstanding, very detailed and convincing. We had the best possible outcome achieved by St. Wise (Mark and Mandy) dealing with Bayside City Council.
The case seemed totally hopeless at the begging and was very stressful because we had a lot depending on it. Result - everything approved by council. Couldn't be happier!! We where celebrating this outcome a whole week! :)
Our case was quiet complicated - we have turned cafe car parking into customer seating (council wasn't happy with of course). And on top of that - we installed large 6mx6m retractable roof that made things even harder. Case lasted well over 6 moths and had lots involved
