Services
At your service are a team of experienced and qualified vets and nurses who provide your beloved pets with the care that they need. Using the most up-to-date equipment and techniques, we handle everything from routine desexing surgery to orthopaedic surgeries and more. Before any surgery takes place, we always discuss everything with you so that you are fully informed.
At Casey and Cranbourne Veterinary Hospital, we have years of experience in desexing dogs and cats, with procedures routinely carried out at around five to six months of age. Desexing is recommended for any animal you don't intend to breed from, as this will prevent unwanted litters of puppies and kittens.
Casey and Cranbourne Veterinary Hospital provides routine animal vaccinations for all types of pets, and it's important that you include these as part of your pet's regular health check. Many of the diseases that affect dogs, cats, rabbits and other pets have no known cure, so vaccinations offer the only protection against them.
Animal microchipping is a legal requirement for all pets in Victoria and must be in place before registering your pet with the local council. Its purpose is to legally identify you as the animals' owner, and it contains a number unique to you that can be read by a scanner. Microchipping also includes an Australia-wide, 24-hour, year-round animal recovery service, so if your pet gets lost or stolen, it can be returned to you if found.
If your pet requires surgery, then there are a number of things to consider before the procedure. Just as people prepare for an operation, so too is it necessary for animals to be prepared to ensure everything goes smoothly and to aid recovery afterwards. We've included some general instructions below about pre-operative care, but if your pet has complex medical or surgical needs, please speak with your vet.

I find them to be a little on the pricey side but all the vets are very nice genuine people, reception are almost always very lovely though they are people and can come off a little rude some days but it's a hard job. They help you out where ever they can within reason, always happy to take my million questions with a smile.
Overall a very warm and welcoming environment, wouldn't say that about all places for sure and the little extra cost for the piece of mind they give is so worth it. Been coming there for quite a while and seen many different vets in there and can't say a bad word about any

Thank you to your lovely Vet Leanne and all of the wonderful Vet Nurses who cared for our dogs after they ate something poisonous.
Leanne called us with multiple updates throughout the day and let us know that the nurses were with our dogs frequently and keeping a close eye on them.
Thank you for all of your hard work and saving our fur babies lives.

We turned up to Casey and Cranbourne vet unannounced with an emergency for one of our dogs with poisoning. They were great. The reception said to bring him in from the car and I was met at the door by the vet. They were very quick and thorough with getting him sorted. Our other dog had to be taken in quickly too. Again they were quick and thorough. A Vet nurse stayed back after her shift to look after my dog to make sure he was alright and comforting him. We received updates every step of the way. Amazing service, fantastic people. thank you.

I appreciate the care and concern when I had to get my little girl put down on Saturday. I have updated my review to reflect the compassion shown by Dr Leanne on the day and the offer to have her paw prints taken and a lock of hair to keep to remember my girl forever. Thanks to Dr Youen for her years of kind care for Jovi always trying new things to help her have a better quality of life. Thank you

I have an English bull terrier called Bonny, she had 2 lumps appear on her body which were getting bigger.
We got the vet to check them out and she told us surgery would be needed. We live in Bairnsdale and travel to see our vet as our Bonny is everything to us. We made the 3 hours trip and was at the vets at 8am! Our vet is aware of the stress we were in aswell as our furbaby. They rang us as soon as she was out of surgery to let is know she was OK and when to pick her up. They took care of Bonny as though they were treating their own. Our vet rang us when she said she would with the results

I have been going to this Veterinary Clinic since it was run by Dr Chris Roberts. When he left I wondered what kind of practice this would be. I should never have wondered. From front of office to all involved at this clinic I have nothing but the highest of praise and thankfulness. They have always gone above and beyond anything I have ever needed them to do. One time I needed to take one of my pets to the vet and l had no car and my dog was very big, they sent a driver to pick us up and bring us home. The Veterinarians are always kind, patient (even with me who likes to ask to many questions)

Thankyou Leanne Daniel Richard and all the wonderful staff for the TLC when our rescue Chow German Shepherd cross (Prince) was at the end of his life. He was 55 kilos and we couldn't get him to a vet. We tried all our local vets in Langwarrin Frankston Carrum Downs to no avail. Richard listened and sent Dr Leanne and Daniel to Langwarrin to help Prince pass in peace
We had no idea that we had two Angels help Prince find his way

I have been visiting this vet clinic since my 16 year old dog was a pup. Even though we moved approx 20 minutes away and pass several vet clinics on our way there I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. Reasonably priced and staff that truly care about animals. We usually see Dr David and Dr Leanne and would recommend them in a heartbeat. Leanne was exceptionally good to us when we had to say goodbye to our girl and made the experience as calm and beautiful as possible. Thank you Leanne, David and the rest of the team for the care you have provided our Milli over the last 16yrs ❤
