Benchmark Building Certifiers was established in 1999 following deregulation of the development assessment system in NSW. This occurred in 1998 with changes to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act that allowed privately accredited individuals to undertake certification of development. The managing directors of Benchmark Building Certifiers are Anthony Krilich and Robert Valades.
Both are accredited certifiers under the NSW Building Professionals Board accreditation scheme. Robert and Anthony have extensive knowledge in New South Wales building regulations and the requirements of the building and development industry. In addition to this knowledge, both have previously worked in private industry and local government.

I am disappointed to read your review. This clearly relates to your building additions and alterations at Chatswood. We understand that you are angry and frustrated at the moment but your comments are incorrect and unfair.
Our role as the Principal Certifier is to ensure that we certify development that is consistent with the development consent that is issued by Council. The penalties for certifiers have become quite severe now and we know Willoughby Council has a track record of lodging complaints over very minor issues.

Jason is an easy to get along with intelligent Building designer in greater western Sydney. I've no doubt any client looking to get an architectural design will agree.
