Used to be so good here! Very disappointed. Pastas were bland all around, very unpleasant. I was very embarrassed to take my dad here. I’d recommend Sagra for a delicious Italian feast.

Great food, amazing wine list and amazing service. We pretty much left our meal and drinks in the hand of the gentleman looking after us and had an amazing night. Little on the exy side but totally worth every penny.

Good atmosphere and staff. We were there for a birthday party with quite a large group. We were the only vegetarians in the group and a tasty selection of vegan food was prearranged for us. Service was excellent and there is a good wine list.

We had lunch for two on a weekday and it was lovely to sit in the semi al fresco dining area on a warm sunny day. Food was delicious and reasonably priced, we had the beef tartare for entree and seafood pasta and pork belly for mains.
The staff were very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend this place for a nice relaxed lunch.
The decor of the restaurant is also very inviting with lots of plants to create a rustic feeling.

Thank you for a wonderful dinner and service on Saturday night! We came to celebrate my husbands birthday early. We absolutely love the food and the level of service and this is our favourite place in Balmain and favourite Italian restaurant in Sydney.! The food is always wonderful and the wine list is impressive. thank you to whole team and we'll be back again soon!

Definitely my new favourite spot! We received a gift card to try it out and have been back twice since. The food is amazing and I love the paired wines ! The service is great, they really go above and beyond and treat you like you're their only table they're looking after. It's gorgeous in there and I like how it's a bit hidden, you wouldn't really notice it walking by. Highly recommend!

I'll be back. Would enjoy trying the specials and pastas which looked excellent. Attentive helpful friendly service - causal dining yet well prepared and presented food and excellent wine list with regional Italian representation. When busy it is definitely a bit noisy (the clientele) . We had dinner on an especially hot day (43 today in Sydney so dining inside was cooler and the head waiter helpfully moved us in from the courtyard) but the unexpected thing was being able to smell the bins - maybe air kept wafting I to the dining room from back alley or behind the kitchen. I didn't investigate

Nice options from the islands and south of the country, outside the ordinary Italian restaurant menus available in Sydney. It was exactly what I was looking for. Good flavours, beautiful presentation at reasonable prices, plus the ambience is quite relaxing. Extensive selection of wines, from all regions! I highly recommend it!

A wonderful place to sit back, relax and have a good meal.
I love the ambiance of the place and the space between tables. Unlike other eateries, I can actually hear the conversation at my dinner table.
The food is good and priced fairly reasonable compared to other higher end Italian joints. Although the special (seafood pasta) I had was a bit on the salty side, I still rate the other dishes. I was off alcohol for the day so I can't really comment on the wine that is being served, however they seem reasonably priced.
The service was great and had no complaints.
I will definitely be back here

Delicious food, and really filling. I shared a couple of entrees with my family and we loved it. Best one was the eggplant entrees and the king Prawns. The mains were absolutely beautiful with the lamb ragout pasta being the top favourite. I'll be back!
