We've installed a new ordering system throughout our restaurant and private karaoke rooms so that that when you're ready to order, whip out your phone, view the menu on the me&u pop up, order and we'll bring the goods to you! Isn't technology cool! Live dangerously - Ask for one random gyoza is injected with chef's award winning chilli yuzu sauce.

This is one of those bars that I walked past numerous times and wrote off as being one of those places that I'll come back to when I feel like it. Well, it turned out that this place was actually quite a lot better than I expected, probably because it turned out to be a proper inner city bay as opposed to some poor excuse for a place to play pokies and drink bad beer. Mind you, when I was here it was pretty packed, and finding a seat was challenging in and of itself. Still, this place did turn out to be pretty cool.

Went to Goros last night for the first time with a big group of mates and it was so much fun. They were able to accommodate us all on a large table right in front of the bar, so we didn’t have to go far to grab a drink. The food and service was great. The staff were very friendly and had some great cocktail recommendations.

This dimly-lit Japanese-themed bar is a nice place for an intimate date. The arcade games area at the back can be fun but I feel that this has somewhat compromised the theme of this place.
The drinks are on the expensive side but happy hour prices are ok. My friend and I got the set menu for a taste of a number of dishes. The food menu is built to compliment drinking, so they are all small plates, nothing substantial.

This cool little joint is tucked away in Surry hills but its so damn quirky ! Awesome drinks and atmosphere , cheap food and really good Japanese food ! The games are super cool and didn’t even need to pay. I love time crisis so that’s where I was all night , cool photo booth but you need to pay for that . Overall it’s a fun place for a group of friends and yummy food but u won’t break your pocket !

Is it possible to be trashy, trendy, and terrific at the same time? Goros says it is. Whether you're here to get smashed and play arcade games, dance, or eat a casual dinner in a cool setting, they've got you covered.
I highly recommend the chicken burger because it's spicy and different than most you'll find elsewhere. The fries have some heat, too. So your taste buds won't be bored. However wonderful the tastes are - understand this is a bar and your food comes in a basket.

Great place ! We had our team Xmas lunch there with Karaoke ! Foods are great and they do have Halal options if you’re kind of after halal foods. Plenty vegetarian options with top quality foods and service! There are pool tables , gaming machines and so forth. Worth visiting and I’d highly recommend. Customer service was outstanding!

I feel like this bar has it all. Liquor, beer, food, karaoke, and a giant Garfield. What more could you want? Not Garfield? I get it, it's kind of odd and looks like some hen/stag just left it there, and I don't know the back story but it lives there now.

The food is fun Japanese, at reasonable prices. I would suggest getting a fee dishes to share.
Whiskey is always a favourite of mine, and Goro's has a fantastic selection of Japanese whiskeys (makes senses). Prices range from $8 to $120. Sadly I didn't get to try the latter, though I'm sure it's great ;)
Video arcade games are also in the back section, with Time Crisis, an old time favourite of mine :)

Crossing the threshold of this trendy establishment made me feel instantly cooler. I wasn't, but damn what an awesome place to grab a few beverages and have a chat with some mates in a cosy bamboo-covered booth!
The food was delicious, and though its a touch too expensive for my skinny uni-student wallet you can get a discount by showing your current RSA card!
I'd definitely recommend checking this place and its funky vibes out!

The reason we went there was the free karaoke...the reason we stayed...karaoke. But what made our stay at Goros even more worth it was the delicious Japanese food and drinks (beer). We had the special that night, which was Japanese Curry. The curry was authentic and very yum, the size of the portions rather large. We probably would go there every single night if we lived in Sydney, since the karaoke is free (if you buy a drink and/or food) - I mean, where can you find free karaoke and great food?

Really cool place, one of the few places in Sydney where it's really easy to meet people on a night out. They have a ton of games and even karaoke! They karaoke fills up fast though, so get in early if that is what you are after. Reasonable prices and a great medium sized bar atmosphere. Try next time you are out in Surry after dinner!

I'm definitely a fan - but let this be a warning: do not come here for dinner if you're hungry. Dinner menu is laminated and doesn't seem to change. Food ain't bad at all, but it's purely izakaya style. You're here to drink; food is merely an after thought.
We came here on a quiet Monday night (happy hour between 5-7pm. Bonus!). The beers were half off at $7 and house wine at $5.
