Bookings are only available via phone 03 5221 9544 as we can not seat more than 10 inside. Time slot are 5pm to 6.30pm, 6.30pm to 8pm and 8pm to 9.30pm. All Bookings are currently for a 1.5 hour period. A table for 2? A family of 6? A group of 50? No worries! Whatever the occasion, however many the numbers, Eastern Spice welcomes your booking for lunch and dinner.

Ordered Vegetable Biriyani got take out.
The Biriyani was nowhere close to a Biriyani. The texture of the rice was like a fried rice. It was more like a fried rice.
The raita given as side was also not good.
Definitely we’d lot of improvement.
2 years back I had a buffet here and it was not bad. But my recent experience was not good. I will not recommend Biriyani here

I got the samosa chaat for takeout, however I ate it right away & it was cold. It tasted like it had been sitting for a while. I also ordered the vegetable briyani which also was not good. I am vegetarian and found pieces of chicken in my briyani. I love Indian food but this place was not it. If you’re going to eat here, do not order either of these two items.

Just picked up curb side. All of our meals seemed like they had been sitting for a while, Naan was tough and chewy. Spicing of meals was irregular. Chicken was very dry. Will not go out of our way to eat here based off of first impressions.

I never give 5 stars but when I do, it’s a place like this one. Love the food, atmosphere is great! Such a hidden gem this one is. The dishes are served in these cool bowls which makes it feel authentic. Such favor, I am a fan of spice and these dishes made my taste bids dance. Definitely a recommend from me.

Tried the Spice Route for the first time this evening, ordered through DoorDash for pickup. The food was great! It's tough to find good Indian food but this place does well - the curries were spicy and full of flavor, and they were very generous with the rice! Great meal, we will definitely order again! One tip to the owners if they read this though - could you please write on the pots what each dish is? It can be confusing! :-)

This is the best Indian restaurant we have tried so far, everything they do just works. The service is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable; the dining room is warm and modern (except the strange tiled area); with the food as the highlight. I really liked the minimalist menu, with a focus on what they do well which appears to be southern Indian fare given the traditional pork vindaloo and the generous use of seafood. I would recommend the non-veg sharing platter for couples or groups, and if you like spice and heat, try the green chilli naan - it is fantastic. I doubted the good food guides rating
