Only place opened on Christmas Eve in city. So best place in city of course. For today at least. Other than that it look more like cantina then restaurant.
They do have big menu, but waitress where not very attentive. I got pork burrito instead of chicken and chorizo one I ordered. It was ok at least.
Pulled pork was good according to my son.
My wife had cheese quesadilla which looked (and tasted) more like modern pesto pizza (no tomato).
To annoy my wife I ordered Vulcan brownie which was humongous. I took majority for go.

We ate all of our meals(2 breakfast and 2 dinners) here and all of them were absolutely awesome.
We had huevos rancheros, Belgian waffles, Popeyes omelette for breakfast. And for dinner we tried cod tacos, enchiladas, tamales and portobello Salad.
All of them were really nice only small issues such as the cod was so crispy that it might have left some scabs in my mouth but i am not complaining since i happen to like crispy. And the tamales were a little on dry side. But overall really good menu, good food and good vegetarian options too.

Oscar's is the best place for breakfast in Springdale, and might be the best for dinner, too. Their portions are HUGE. Even by American standards they're impressive. They're just as expensive as any other restaurant in town, but they give you double the food. I am also happy to say everything is delicious and will be a perfect dinner after a long day in the park!

Oscar’s Cafe is a laid back little eatery in Springdale and one of the better options available if you’re spending time here to visit Zion. The food has two key focuses: burgers and Mexican/southwest. I can only speak to the Mexican food as I didn’t try one of the burgers, but the options were compelling and the options in the menu didn’t lack in variety. The Mexican cuisine is heavy on the southwest influence of the region, which definitely makes sense. You’ll find no dearth of corn, tomatoes, and beans in the ingredients used to make their dishes. If you’re looking for a solid option

Honestly, we found it a bit of a challenge finding places open for lunch. Seems like half the restaurants are “temporarily closed”, for one reason or another.
Our server was Ian and he was SUPER attentive, without being annoying. Give that guy a raise!
Entrees we’re a bit pricey, but on par with everywhere else in a tourist town. However, the portions were large, so my wife and I split something and both left full. It was really good—I’d go here again in a heartbeat.
Kids meals are $7 each, and come with drinks. Again, large portions, so our two girls easily shared a Mac and Cheese

Really liked this place but I’m a bit surprised by the incredible positive reviews. Food was good - not amazing by any means. I would recommend trying the Pineapple burger. Our server was super nice, which seems to be the norm in this restaurant according to other reviews. The atmosphere is nice but loud and busy. They only have one restroom on site and two more in a building across the street. I would recommend this for an after a long hiking day lunch/dinner.

Nothing more than backpacker accommodation. Paid $170 for Wed night in the smallest room imaginable. There was nowhere to put our luggage which ended up on the floor and blocked us from being able to even walk… past the bed. There’s no surface to put anything and only one bedside table! That’s how small the room was, there was only room for one bedside, my husband had to keep handing things over to me to put down, his glasses, bottle of water etc The heater kept coming on by itself in the night. The bathroom is so tiny, there was nowhere to even put a toiletries bag. Had to place

Nicky and Matt were so helpful in organising our recent wedding. Everything went smoothly thanks to the wonderful staff. We had a cocktail reception and the food was amazing. All our guests were raving about it, and there was more than enough to go around. The bar staff and waiters/ waitresses were all friendly and made everyone feel special. Thanks Oscars for making our night memorable. Libby abd Mark Squire
