Attended for breakfast while staying at the peppers. Dining room was cozy and had a great ambience.
Breakfast was included in our stay, but I think it has a set price of circa $30 for visitors.
The breakfast started with a share plate of granola & yoghurt, fresh fruits, and flakey fresh croissants. You can also order a barista made coffee along with fresh juices.
Following the platter, you then order a hot breakfast from the set menu, which offered 5 different choices to cater for most tastes.
We tried the smoked salmon rosti and the country breakfast.
Both were very delicious, plated beautifully

I was extremely disappointed when I arrived. I was confronted by 3 very inexperienced kids managing the restaurant floor with the oldest telling if I was aware that I was late for my booking. At that point I should have left but stayed on to experience a very weak menu option. The food was of decent quality but lacked the items it needed to cater for all tastes.
I guess I just expected more from this establishment.

I really enjoyed my night at the Argus dining room. Firstly, the staff were really friendly and easy to talk to. The menu had great choices, I love when a menu doesn’t have too many main options, you then know that the chef has perfected each dish and I couldn’t fault anything me and my boyfriend had, the sides were a great start and we devoured the barbeque tempeh and the braised beef. This is a great spot for a date, some wine and dinner, you’ll leave super happy!

Food was decent. Service was one of the slowest I've experienced however. Waited over an hour for starter. Some patrons who arrived at the same time were on their desert by the time we received our starter. Ended eating in a near empty restaurant whilst they set up for the morning. Not sure how they prioritise their service but a lot of room for improvement.

We went here before our spa afternoon as it was included in the package
The ladies working were lovely so service was good but would expect that when we were the only ones in the restaurant
The entree was pretty tasty but all went downhill with our mains
I had pasta which was basically just in a broth (so sour) and onion and some broccoli, absolutely no flavour. The beef wasn’t too bad just no flavour, needed seasoning

Service was good.
Our entrees were good. Especially my cauliflower dish. But it got nasty from there.
My wife's parpedelle was unfortunately disgusting. I really don't understand how someone could enjoy that dish. My beef was presented we'll but had absolutely no flavour. Even after loads of salt it still didn't have flavour.

Beautiful place lovely atmosphere , friendly staff , prompt service and attention to detail are just a few things I could say to describe this resturaunt when we arrived the vibe was quite relaxed and friendly the dinning room was low lit but very comfortable and has a sense of elegance to it . The food we received was fantastic it was very rich with flavour and had a certain depth to it , the smoked trout they have is just incredible if you're lucky enough to get a chance to try it I highly recommend doing so , me and my partner opted for the feed me option and by the end of the even iing we couldn

Never do this to yourself. The decor and location, as well as good reputation, led me to believe that this was a special place for a night out to treat ourselves. Very rarely has a restaurant disappointed me so badly.
The food was not special at all, even though I could see how they were attempting to make it gourmet. The service was terrible although it wasn’t full when we arrived.
We had to take a booking at 6.15pm even though the restaurant opened at 6pm and was practically empty. There weren’t enough pax to justify trying to pace the kitchen.
It’s possible we just came on a bad night
