At Performance Care, we incorporate physiotherapy and rehabilitation exercises as part of our multidisciplinary approach to health care. Research has demonstrated that poor motor control can be re-trained through corrective exercises. Scientific evidence supports the effectiveness of physiotherapy exercise programs in the treatment of many musculoskeletal conditions.
At Performance Care, we deliver chiropractic care in conjunction with physiotherapy, Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.) and exercise rehabilitation for all our patients as indicated. Chiropractic is recognised as a safe and effective form of manipulative therapy suitable for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
At Performance Care, we deliver Active Release Techniques (ART) in conjunction with physiotherapy, chiropractic and exercise rehabilitation for all our patients as indicated. ART is a patented soft tissue massage technique that utilises active movements (where possible) to mobilise scar tissue adhesions caused by injuries, repetitive friction (e.g., from over-use injuries) and hypoxia (lack of oxygen).
At Performance Care, our qualified exercise physiologists have an in depth knowledge on the effects of exercise on the musculoskeletal system and the human body in general. Exercise physiology is a tertiary degree, requiring minimum of 4 years of study at a recognised university. An Exercise Physiologist is a health professional who has specific expertise in health promotion and exercise rehabilitation.
At Performance Care, we offer exercise rehabilitation and performance conditioning as part of our multidisciplinary approach to health care. You don't have to be an elite athlete to benefit.
