Trinitas Thai presents a new chapter in Thai fine dining. Through the combined experiences of traditional, contemporary and fusion tastes, we proudly present authenticity with diversity. Trinitas Thai has a vibrant, elegant atmosphere, with a stylish decor and the upper level, perfect for private functions, is warm, plush and inviting.
Somchai has more than ten years experience creating Thai food and throughout that time, he's pioneered a range of signature dishes that have our valued customers coming back for more, such as the deliciously tender Honey Pork Neck or his proudest creation, the Thai Imperial Fish. We guarantee you won't find these dishes anywhere else.

Really disappointing- lost it's charm.
Trinitas used to offer a combination of traditional, fusion and modern Thai food. It was fresh, tasty and interesting. Not any more. Meal tonight was uninspiring the most mediocre of Thai food. BQQ pork and vegetables was stir fried low quality pork. The chicken and cashew stir fry used a battered chicken and tasted similar to the pork dish. Decor has been updated and was bright in an unattractive way. Food was overpriced and we were charged $2 for takeaway containers without being advised. Service was just OK. I'd be surprised if the chef had any real experience

Trinitas used to be best quality Thai restaurant in the area with prices to match. Got take away recently (in covid) and it appeared to have changed hands and the food was the poorest quality I have had in a long time. Tasteless and not the complex flavours I was expecting from the past. Prices still seem high and don't match the quality of the food.

If I could give no stars, I would. As per the review below, Trinitas Thai used to offer great meals. Spicy, authentic, flavoursome food. However, my take away last Friday night was NONE of those. The tom yum soup was completely flavourless, the "salad" to accompany my fish was nothing but onions and the beef was simple Chinese flavours. It was no where near Thai food and actually I couldn't place it in any cuisine to be honest. I spent $75 and threw most of the food out. I hate to be so scathing, but people need to be aware so they don't waste their money like I did.

What appeared to be an interesting menu turned out to be a front for an average dining experience. There was no pepper in the garlic and pepper prawns, the bar b q pork was simply an average stir fry with the… same vegetables as the prawns. Our second entree of scallops on an apple and peanut salad came out AFTER the second main dish and the scallops were like bits of leather, there were cashews , not peanuts and NO dressing of any sort. More attention was given to the steady stream of Uber eats and take always than the patrons who chose to dine. Over priced and underwhelming.......won&rsquo

This place was a favourite of ours however, it looks as though they have recently had a change of ownership. Bitterly disappointed with the new restaurant.
The staff were nice, however the food is nothing like it used to be. If only we could find where the old chefs have gone, we would happily drive hours to eat and enjoy.
Waiting over one hour for a standard lunch meal isnt the best way to keep your customers.

The food is good but the restaurant can get really busy and you might not be able to get a table if you don’t have any reservations. The quality of their delivery is lower than eating in, which is not a great combination when you might not be able to accommodate walk-ins in the restaurant. With the option of having the Thai Signature less than a block away makes me opt not to come back at Trinitas Thai.

Just so excellent. After so many 'run of the mill' Thai places on every street corner, Trinitas feels refreshing and 'next level'.
'Trinitas' references the essentially three menus they have to offer; as @Matt B points out; traditional, contemporary and fusion style.
Having that much to select from might be a little overwhelming on your first visit, but for a guy used to seeing the same 10 Thai dishes listed in every other place, it was super exciting to have so much choice. Dining with friends mean you can mix it up and share items from all three menu sections

Doesn't disappoint. Delicious, fresh, tasty and very authentic food. Despite the large menu, it's not hard to choose great items, and in fact the wait staff will assist you with options if required.
We were a group of four and sat downstairs by the window for dinner, which was fine, except it was icy cold outside and I had a draft howling around my legs and my friends against the window did get cold backs. No air con downstairs. Being able to BYO wine/bubbles is also great.
Top quality food, highly recommended.

Without doubt the best Thai restaurant in Camberwell / Hawthorn East.
A group of friends and myself dined here for a friends birthday and the food was great.
The menu is split into three sections; traditional, contemporary and fusion style. We decided to order a mix of starters and mains from each section to share, so we could get a good sample of all the food on offer. We tried a range of things such as Thai fish cakes and spring rolls to start. Mains involved Red Curry Prawns, Spice Chicken Curry and calamari to name but a few. There is a good choice of food on offer here and it's good

If I lived in the area, you'd see me quite a fair bit Trinitas Thai. We had dinner there a couple of weeks ago. I wanted something close to work so this place came in handy. I'd never tried it before, which is shockingly amazing given that I work 2 doors up!
Anywayz.... We had.... Hang on a sec.. No! Really? I can't remember.. Oh yeah nah.. We had the battered fish dish (which was the chef's special on the night), the chicken cashew perhaps...? and coconut rice.. I blame this mental blip on the wine!
I do remember that everything we had was very nice though. I don't

I miss working in the area because Trinitas has lunch specials for $10.90 on Thursdays and Fridays!
I have been here on numerous occasions and after the first few tries here are some pointers.
Book for dinner
Eating in is more expensive than take-away
Lunch on Thursdays and Fridays are quite a bargain though with a limited menu

I finally got to try Trinitas Thai! The food here was absolutely delightful. Each meal was delicious. However, the prices of the mains ranged between $20 and $27 so the food doesn't compete on price with many other thai places.
I will certainly be back to enjoy Trinitas Thai for their great food and service, but it will generally be on special occasions.

Great food? Tick. Authentic flavours? Tick. Comfortable setting? Tick.
Trinitas is one of my favourite local restaurants. Having been to Thailand and sampled the food I was so pleased to find a restaurant at home that could deliver the same complexities of flavours in curries and stir-fries.
The menu is split up into 3 sections: traditional, contemporary and fusion. I highly recommend having a selection from each.
The Thai imperial fish ($27) from the contemporary menu is phenomenal: battered fish with spicy sauce and yoghurt cream. The beef basil ($20) and red duck curry (24) from the traditional
