Services
Our healthcare team can assist you with education, advice and care to ensure your pet has the happiest and healthiest life possible. We provide a full range of medical facilities for the diagnosis and treatment of dogs and cats. In order to keep informed on current therapies and procedures our veterinarians and nursing team regularly attend relevant seminars and education programs.
Veterinarians recommend desexing for a variety of reasons. Firstly, it prevents unwanted litters of puppies and kittens. In females, the spay procedure removes the reproductive organs and immediately stops hormonal cycles with the associated bleeding in bitches, and risk of pregnancy.
Castration of males can help prevent wandering tendencies which can lead to traffic accidents as well as some territorial behaviours in cats such as urine marking and fighting. The latter can lead to many an unplanned vet visit due to injuries which can in themselves require surgery and extensive treatment to resolve.

We recommend and stock a variety of healthcare products for your pets to protect against creepy crawlies such as fleas, mites, lice and intestinal worms. Please contact us for advice so we can recommend a product that suits your pet, environment and budget. We will tailor make a parasite control program for your individual pet, depending on his/her lifestyle and choosing amongst a number of excellent products now available.
Our x-ray facilities allow us to investigate animal injuries and health problems. Having the equipments on hand means we are able to quickly diagnose injuries particularly in emergency situations. This is convenient for you as your pet can have all treatment done at the hospital and also means our patients are given the best opportunity for recovery.
Your pet's dental health is one of the most overlooked and undervalued aspects of their health and well being. Periodontal disease is the most common clinical condition occurring in adult dogs and cats, and is generally preventable. By three years of age, most dogs and cats have some evidence of periodontal disease.

I made an appointment with this vet for 2pm today and asked them their covid policies. They said to call upon arrival, so I did so. Upon calling I am informed by their voicemail that the clinic is closed and to call their emergency number. I call their emergency number 4 times and fail to get through. So I approached the clinic and of course the clinic is closed and I'm unable to talk to any staff members. Now I've missed the opportunity to make appointments at clinics that are actually able to treat my sick elderly cat because they made an appointment for me when they were closed. I'm absolutely

This is not a fear free clinic. I used to enjoy coming here but after this stressful visit, will not be coming back. The vet Mark did absolutely nothing to assist my fearful dog. There was no empathy at all. They tried to drag him by the muzzle, harness, and didn't allow him time to get accustomed to the clinic. This man told me that I should think about euthanizing my dog without any assessment or background information and made me feel like I had no other option. I literally left the clinic sobbing.
If you have a anxious or fearful dog, don't come here. Find a fear free clinic with a vet that

Update - clinic has gone private, prices increased, no original vets work there. It's just not the same, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I miss the old staff it was such a pleasure walking into the clinic. Reception staff are still nice, but unfamiliar and not interested in the pets like previous staff were, too busy looking at the computer.
Staff are so helpful, friendly and caring of both pets and parents! They do lots of extra activities outside of being a vet (e.g. information sessions on pets and animals, social interaction groups for dogs, etc). They have a wonderful membership program

If you love your pet this is legitimately the best Veterinary for you, I took my older Jack Russell for blood tests because he's showing signs of dementia, and they made both of us feel so at home and… comfortable, the tests were a breeze and just quietly in the last few days since going and before starting any medication, Snoops miraculously picked up and is looking better than he has in over a week ;) Thank You Blackburn, I will see you guys very soon for the results and to start him on some fantastic mediation. Also everything was explained in perfect detail to me along with all costs

By far the best vet my dog and I have been to. The team there is always polite, understanding and responsive. In particular my recent visit, Dr Josie Cox is not only a professional but I can tell she is very passionate towards her work and the pets she sees. My dog is never too nervous to see her. Give this vet a try if you're looking for a new vet to take your furry friends to.
