Interstate owner and we through 7 property managers in my time with Lutons. for the first few years it was a great company with property managers that cared and was a stress free experience. The past few years they have definitely gone down hill. I kept getting passed to new property managers, had to follow up on items and did not get any support… or advice when there was a breach in contract that was never fully resolved due to the change in property managers.

If you want good service , go elsewhere. I was dealing with them as a buyer. Not a very pleasant agency to deal with. After purchase of the property, make you travel to their offices to pick up a key, the key is handed in an envelope with not even "thank you". A bit rude and arrogant. Telling point about their attitude. A bit of extra effort seem to be too much bother for them.

Luton 'managed" my 2 bedroom Barton apartment in the Realm precinct for just over two years. I use the term "managed" very loosely. The first few months were fine because I had a very good property manager. Sadly, when Karyn left, the big decline began. I can relate a great deal to Willow Sloane's experience (see review of one year ago).

Baljeet at the Gungahlin office is the absolute best property manager. Baljeet is fair, reasonable, kind, understanding, responsive and a pleasure to be a tenant for. Basically everything you could ever want in a property manager. Over the last four years Baljeet has provided excellent service, and has helped us transition from tenants to owners seamlessly. When I was renting a unit through Luton Properties Manuka recently, I was facing a very challenging situation. However, David Connelly took over the matter and worked through it with much sincerity and integrity and resolved the matter quickly and achieved a positive outcome. When I first moved to Canberra and looking for a rental property, I found a cosy place with Luton Prooerties Manuka. When I first visited their office, I could tell the quality of their work from the first sight. But the most gratitude I have is for my property manager, Melissa Hueso. Her kindness, the diligent and prompt manner and her amiable demeanor rendered my stay truly pleasant. As an unexperienced tenant in Australia, I was very lucky to have such property manager.

The flat has had a change of tenants. In addition, it had become a little tired and, in consultation with Melissa, we settled on a number of things to refresh it before a new tenant moved in.
Melissa managed superbly every aspect of the change of tenants and the work on the flat.

Luton Real Estate in Belconnen has been the worst Real Estate Agency by far. The heater broke in the middle of winter (in an under year old house) and in 3 weeks it still was not fixed. It was only fixed a week after he was informed that these conditions were not liveable and the tenants would be vacating (4 weeks after the inital request). There were numerous other issues that was only fixed once he was told the tenants would be vacating. The tenants were informed that they were required to pay a break lease fee in the amount of one week rent and pay for the ad on allhomes, grossly unreasonable
