No, we do not charge for design and quote sessions. For alteration quotes we charge $45, which come off the final price if the alteration goes ahead. Make sure you bring the correct underwear to each fitting and the shoes you are planning to wear when nominated on your fittings card. You are also welcome to try jewellery on towards the final fittings as a trial run of the complete look.
With more than 20 years of industry experience each Paula & Jo offer a professional and relaxed service. We work with you to create your favourite gown or outfit. All we ask is that you put together for us a look book of ideas of the styles that you love coupled with shapes that you feel suit your body and personality type.

Having tried a few shops but not sure on the dress I had picked I kept my appointment the following week and went along to Paula & Jo alone. I had seen a few inspo pics online and asked if I could try them on. They’re all samples/individual pieces made up for shoots so I was lucky to be able to try on in my size. The style was definitely so much more ‘me’ than anything else I tried on. Paula was very kind and arranged for me to video call with my Mum and sister the following week (I’m Irish). I had a skirt and a dress made from my own hand printed fabrics, both turned out perfect! I didn't have much idea of style what I wanted, so Paula was a fabulous help to design both the dress and the skirt. Absolutely love my new dress, cannot wait to wear it to a wedding (as a guest) later in the summer.
The ladies are so lovely, helpful and talented. Would highly recommend. Not only for formal wear, these ladies can make absolutely anything!

I fell pregnant unexpectedly while doing wedding preparations, so I had to put aside the existing wedding gown I already bought. I had to look for people that does maternity wedding gowns and I come across Paula and Jo on the internet. I was impressed by the number of good reviews they had so I went for it.
