We didn't stay at the hotel we just eat at the resteraunt the food was really nice a little pricey but worth the money we went for a romantic meal as it was a cocktail bar as well it was a bit loud we were sat by the main thoughfare even though there was other tables by the window that was quieter however the service was excellent

Turned up around 830 and sat outside. It was very nice with the heaters so read the menu and chose our drinks. We waited around 10mins with no waiter. We had already asked the other family outside if it was table service and they replied yes. So i went inside to be greeted by its table service and somebody will be out to take our order. 10 mins later still nobody so left. Considering its supposed to be upmarket the service obviously wasnt.

Disappointed due to only 1 thing
We spent a weekend away and chose this hotel due to its rating on Web sites.
Not able to walk to far, my sister in law and her partner had walked around the other eateries around the hotel much the same price for food as the Vincent but a lot more crowded.
We settled on the hotel resteraunt for our evening meal, purely due to the menu on our rooms which had a meal both myself and my sister in law could eat
We were seated by a very polite member of staff and we ordered drinks.
It was then we noticed there were 2 different menus on the table, the one displayed

Whilst it’s location was convenient, the rooms were so dark and dingey even with all the lights on. We had a room at the back half of the hotel and the view was awful, overlooking some rubbish bins. The continental breakfast was poor. We were quite looking forward to our few days away but there was no luxury or special feel at the Vincent and spoilt the trip a little. Save your money and get a light and airy bed and breakfast on the seafront for less than half this price.

This was actually a rather quiet pub tucked away just down the road from the beach. I guess the location makes it much better than the beach side pubs that tend to get pretty crowded at times (at least in the sports bars). It is probably more like a restaurant, but does have quite a nice bar and lounge area (though no real outdoor area, except on the sidewalk). I quite like this pub as not only is there a good selection of beers, but the atmosphere is also quite relaxing. Oh, and there is also the rather comfortable lounge area.

Love the street aspect of our dining experience especially on such a great spring day. However the quality of the food left us both wanting. My wife sent her meal back. It was not hot enough. Mine almost as cold. The meals looked gorgeous. This strikes me as a disturbing trend in Melbourne. It is almost as if the meals are prepared off-site, then reheated to order.
