I don't have enough words to praise yourself and everyone else and trust me my friends went crazy, they couldn't get over the views, the service and the food. Thank you to the whole team, we really appreciate all that you guys done for us. Anything we asked for you guys straight away said yes without hesitation and it meant the world to us.
We love to host weddings at Mr Hobson and cater for groups of all sizes. There are many spectacular options nearby for outdoor or indoor ceremonies or you may choose to have a ceremony on premise. Port Melbourne provides a picturesque setting perfect for stunning wedding photography with romantic walkways, sea-side boardwalks, sandy beaches, sun-set facing back-drops, and a historic railway line and railway station.

Ordered seafood linguine, bruschetta and half dozen natural oysters. Took about 30 minutes to get our oysters and then the bruschetta came out with the pasta about 5-10mins after. Oysters were very creamy if that's what you like, not to my taste. Bruschetta was very plain, basically just diced tomato with hardly anything else. Pasta on the upside was quite good. Overall though, not very impressed.

Poor food and poor service.
We waited 20 minutes before our order was taken.
After 45 minutes of waiting after ordering the 1st of 3 meals came out. It was terrible.
After 15 minutes of waiting for the other 2 meals and being promised that they were only 2 minutes away we decided to just leave.
Plenty of other good options around, go there.

This is our FAVOURITE restaurant in Victoria. We travel regularly from Cranbourne to Port Melbourne just to enjoy a fantastic meal in a fantastic location. The friendly staff are always lovely and so quick to come and take our orders. The great manager is always great and knows exactly what drinks we have and brings them to our table within a minute of sitting down. We have NEVER had a bad meal in all the years of coming to this AWESOME restaurant. It's in a lovely location where you have such a relaxing and lovely outlook over the water. What more could you ask for. A great place for kids too

Came in for lunch and the food was uninspired to say the least. Service was average and they brought out entree (share plate) and main at the same time for some strange reason.
This place doesn’t deserve one star but is firmly at a 2 star level. I should have paid more attention to my predicted rating from Google.

Lovely place with water views
Lots of car parking but it is metered. Food was delicious
Had a ragu pizza , partner had a ragu need burger and sister Calamari. Coffee was good
Has alcohol if preferred. Got 25% of food due to new gourmet chef starting there. Thinks this apply all of August. Nice to walk around and see the Spirit of Tasmania
