In the past the staff have been very kind and considerate to us. My wife has been a cancer patient at the Cairns Base Hospital for approximately 5 years and has been a convenient location for her to attend appointments as we reside near Cooktown. A terminally ill cancer patient needs a comfortable sofa to lay on during their time off from appointments. The couch that was in her booked appartment was collapsed and very uncomfortable for her. She has been in so much pain. We are very disappointed with the new management! We were treated with no respect. Couldn't even book an extra 2 nights when my

Arrived later at night due to work commitments and the website advertising 24/7 check in only to find the 24/7 check in didn't work. So a call was made to the after hours number and the manager who picked up the phone just hung up. Upon calling him again he gave an extremely rude attitude as if I had just ruined his whole night.

Rooms were poorly designed (especially the obnoxiously loud bathroom fan)
Weird stains on carpets and the whole room was unclean.

Booked the appartment and arrived after hours, management were meant to leave the gate and room key in envelope and only left the gate key making it a muck around, they kept saying the key was in the envelope which it clearly wasnt then had the audacity to accuse us for stealing the key and threatened to make us pay for a locksmith. Management were extremely rude and uptight deffinitely wont be going there again.

Friendly service. Had a few problems with internet and unit appliances over our 4 week stay, but were all sorted in pretty quick order. Small unheated pool was used by us and a few others, but in August the water was pretty cool. Units showing a bit of age, but was kept clean and tidy. As our stay was a bit longer, we had to prompt housekeeping for a bit of extra cleaning on the weekly service, but was provided with no problems.

Beautiful place with palms & gardens everywhere. The kids loved everything about the hotel. They had their own room which was great for all of us! They have everything in there apartments, from all kitchen equipment & oven/stove, laundry with washing machine, dryer & all other accessories, lounge & bathroom etc with everything you could possibly need! It was a great stay & the pool with the spa topped it off 👍 - now my kids want a spa! Definitely in every which way- loved it! Go stay there & you'll see for yourself!
