Food was great, the service was very mediocre.
First the food, I ordered the Atlantic salmon, the fish itself was a little on the small side but the dish was hardly empty, my salad and quinoa filled the bowl and it was filling. $32 for this, a touch on the expensive side. All of the dishes for our group (14 people) came at the same time which was good.
The service however wasn't so hot. 3 drinks went missing and we had to ask, and an extra drink no one ordered arrived. They were also a long time coming. The food took 45 minutes to arrive after we ordered

Worst & Arrogant owner!
First experienced go there, will never come back. Food was good. Service is terrible, not all the staff. Only 1 service staff & the owner that ruin everything. Was busy day, can see that they are under staff. Some advice: close some section if you can’t manage the whole venue. Please don’t let the owner talk to customers, worst respond ever! I & my friends work in hospitality industry and we knew how it operate. We didn’t complaint for the time we have to wait for our food & drinks to arrive. But the respond from the service staff & owner were ridiculous. Just asking

We ate lunch here tuesday 28th jan it was extremely busy our meals took a while to come, thats ok. We eat here quite regularly but were extremely disappointed with this experience, my husbands steak sandwich stone cold and it got worse my thai beef salad was nothing thai it did contain beef no dressing as im gluten free. It was meant to have cashews i searched i reckon a total of one cashew in tiny chips the tomato looked and tasted like it was cut up days ago basically a big bowl of lettuce with a hair in a random piece of iceberg lettuce

Loved this place.. the food, the lake view, the staff and the ambience....we had chicken salad and my partner had a wrap...(can't remember exact name of the dishes) but we absolutely enjoyed coming here..this was our first visit to Ballarat and this place.. will come back again...staff is very friendly...the lady who took care of us wears glasses( I wish I had asked her name) and she was very professional and friendly..keep up the good work guys... 💪

Loved this place. It has a really nice atmosphere and vibe. You can take a seat overlooking the lake and have your breakfast. So many people jogging, walking their dog or rowing outside and it's just all happening. The space inside is great and nicely decorated and clean. Lots of outside seating too. The food is good and there are lots of options. The portion size and quality are good. Coffee is great. As soon as you sit, they take the drink order which I loved that because your coffee will come to you pretty much as soon as you are ready to order your breakfast. The service is fast and staff are

My husband and I revisited here last week for lunch and once again it did not dissspoint. Even though it was a Friday, they were quite busy but we were lucky enough to be seated inside. The meal was delicious and the steaks cooked spot on. We also had carrot cake served with ice-cream for dessert. The service was exceptional and they even bought us a bottle of water without having to ask. Will definitely be returning next time we are in Ballarat.
