My mum and I came here on a 3 night retreat with a group of others.
We were really impressed with the level of service provided by our host, Phil, and his ability to meet the groups demands with patience and a smile.
Also very impressed with the quality and volume of food we were provided throughout our stay, a lot of those in our group had complex dietary requirements which I can imagine were probably a bit of a headache to deal with, but both Phil and the chef on duty ensured all the unique needs were met.
Outstanding service, highly recommend staying here or booking a retreat here.

We went here for breakfast on recommendation and it was incredible. Lovely, friendly hospitality and the food was to die for. We're heading back for dinner tonight. This place is a must visit if you're around the area. Much better food than the other few places we've been so far.

Celebrated a 50th set menu lunch here on mothers day. We had our own room for 16 of us. Food was delicious, the trout was cooked perfectly and passion fruit curd tart with strawberry swirl ice cream was the topping on the cake. The only let down which is why it gets 4 stars instead of 5 was the service in that we were there for almost 4 hours. It took a long time for each plate to arrive. We had two tables of 8 and one of the tables received their final course almost a half hour before the other table. The staff themselves were otherwise great and said that because of Mothers day they were very

Great and interesting flavours with the middle eastern influence. Stayed a weekend and went to the Friday cabaret, Kelly Auty who delivered a brilliant performance with her pianist. Service & ambience was very special. A great country weekend away.

You can't fault this place as it has everything you could desire for a comfortable, quiet and gourmet weekend. Fabulous cabaret style Friday night entertainments showcasing incredible local talents. Andrew Dennis is a remarkable hatted chef and ensured the Grande was in The Age Good Food Guide within days of starting up the restaurant. Excellent wine list. Despite all this not overly expensive. Even the breakfasts are sublime. The photos of his creations do not lie. They are wonderful. Comfortable rooms, some with spas and doors that open out onto the balcony and provide breathtaking views over
