Vicky studied a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at the University of Melbourne before completing an honours year in cancer research at St. Vincent's Institute of Medical Research. Her love for animals combined with her desire to help people led her to obtain a veterinary degree at the University of Queensland.

We had a dog that was having a tough experience, and not only did we get great support from Dr Michelle, who helped us better understand our dog, but also send a handwritten note after our dog unfortunately had to be put down.
I've never had such good service in what has been a really tough time for us, and Dr Michelle was professional, polite and knowledgeable.

Dr Michelle and the whole team at Vets on Balwyn are such a kind and compassionate team that is full of knowledge! We are forever grateful for all the support we have received whilst trying to make our Frankie his happiest self. Dr Michelle includes us in all decisions and always ensures we are well informed about a variety of options available. Dr Michelle was absolutely amazing at helping us deal with our dog who had big behaviour issues. We loved that she worked with our family and our dog trainer to give our dog the best care he needs. We had an hours drive to get to the practice from our house and was well worth the drive. The care, support and knowledge is worth every cent. Thank you for your services.

I am the owner of a boisterous 3 year old border collie. I don't think I could have found a better vet clinic. Both doctors and nurses are incredibly professional, responsive and knowledgeable. They go the extra mile to help you by sending texts to your phone when vaccinations and parasite medications are due. I feel confident that my dog is in the best hands possible. Their website makes it easy for me to make bookings, and there is plenty of parking outside the clinic.

Vets on Bawlyn are amazing. My reactive, rescue dog has been seeing Dr. Michelle and the care has been caring, thorough and professional. Dr. Michelle has provided ongoing support through phone calls and email and works to support myself and my dog in all ways possible, including sourcing updates from his trainer. The rest of the team are also great and always happy to provide me with support and advice over the phone. Highly recommend, especially if you have a dog with behavioural issues or a dog who needs extra planning to attend an appointment.

As a new puppy owner my experience at vets on Balwyn has been just fantastic. Michelle Rassool has guided me through this strange and overwhelming experience with patience and professionalism. I wouldn't trust… anyone else to help me raise my dog and her background in dog training has been so helpful as she helps me-someone who has never had the joy and stress of raising a new puppy-learn the ropes. I cannot recommend her services enough. Her sheer care and understanding of dogs is enough for me to drive an extra 45minutes to this practice rather than going somewhere closer. 10/10 would

Inexperienced vets who diagnose by trial and error, requiring multiple appointments to get a correct diagnosis. For the level of actual expertise the consultations are overpriced. The vets don’t really understand that sick animals are disturbed by noise and fuss and this means treatment there is also more stressful for the animals than it needs to… be. Sadly I have to say I will no longer visit this clinic. Sadly because it started out with experienced insightful vets who were more than just qualified, and qualifications mean very little without experience. Great when it started. Now
