Today's youth currently struggle with increasing sedentary lifestyles due to the introduction of technology, or a push towards earlier adoption of and intensive single-sport specialization. The reduced physical activity and decrease in free play undermines motor skills development leading to a heightened risk of injury, and exacerbating childhood obesity.

Fitter Futures programs incorporates functional movements that develop all aspects of fitness, like strength, core stability, cardio, power, speed, endurance, agility, co-ordination, body-awareness and balance.We are devoted to safety in movement and helping kids and teens develop a broad athletic foundation and healthy habits.
Want to get your kids off the couch and off their screens these school holidays? We have an EXTENSIVE school holidays program, to suit various budgets, interests and age groups. We are VERY excited to welcome an Australian track and field Olympian, Dane Bird-Smith who will be coaching our "Run for the Stars" program to inspire our next generation of young athletes!
Feeling inspired by our athletes at Tokyo? Got kids or teens who want to run faster? Now's their chance to learn from one of our most successful track and field athletes, Dane Bird-Smith. Athletes will learn how to improve their running technique and speed, and hear about Dane's Olympic journey. Useful for any young athlete who wants to run faster to improve their performance on and off the field or track!

Our Juniors program is for kids typically aged between 5-8 years (Prep to Grade 3), or sometimes younger or older depending on their developmental age, capability and maturity.The objective of our 30 minute sessions at our kid's fitness gym is to make fitness fun! To develop foundational movements and teach fundamental skills that all kids need to become confident and capable.

Recently completed a strength building course at Fitter Futures and LOVED showing up every week. Coaches were excellent, lots of space and equipment and an excellent mission and vibe. The focus on functional movements across different stages of life and their emphasis on technique gets a big yes from me.

I can't tell you how many times I walked past Fitter Futures but felt too unsure to book a consultation. I recently took the plunge and joined a "strength training for yogis" course.
My gosh why did I wait so long?!? In terms of gyms & strength training, I've never felt so comfortable & welcomed. It's such a family-friendly atmosphere. Despite the fact I hadn't done strength training for about 5 years (embarrassingly!) I felt encouraged and the focus on technique and safety is their top priority (which at now 40 yrs old I appreciate!).

We’ve been sending our teens to Fitter Futures for a few years now. The team provide a program that is nothing like you can get anywhere else. One of my kids is not into team sports, and Fitter Futures provides an environment where all kids feel welcome and part of a healthy active community without the pressure of team sports.

Fitter Futures is the best fitness experience I can imagine! I have learned the proper movements and regimes to achieve maximum success with my fitness goals and stay injury free throughout!
The coaches are highly qualified and committed to the best outcome for every single client, no matter where you start or what injuries you may have. Before I joined Fitter Futures in early 2019, I had barely any gym experience and lacked the strength to perform well in footy. Fitter Futures offers professional training based on functional movements that can be tailored to anyone's needs. It has certainly improved my performance in all facets of sport, and I feel much better for it.
I've had some great experiences in the gym, firstly as a member, then as a placement student, then as a coach. What I believe makes Fitter Futures unique is that it's more than just a gym. Everyone makes you feel welcome and they genuinely care for your health and

I 1000% percent trust the coaches at Fitter Futures with training my kids. They focus on technique (so important!) but at the same time, make things fun.
Fitter Futures is the only Brand X Method gym in Australia. Brand X Method is the world’s top coaching platform for youth. So for it to be the only gym that offers this expertise in the country and for it to be just up the road, that is a very big deal, in my opinion.
Great community of athletes, coaches and families. The adult program is amazing, too!
So highly recommend this place!

We are the parents of a 16yo swimmer who lives in Regional Queensland. Sam from Fitter Futures was introduced to our son at a Swimming Queensland development camp in Brisbane. Prior to learning of Fitter Futures, we had no understanding or appreciation of the importance of strength and conditioning for athletes.
Our son immediately made a connection with Sam when they met initially. The athlete/coach relationship has evolved since, albeit from 1000kms away. Sam explains the rationale of the training to both the athlete and parents in easy to understand and simple language.

I have mainly relied on running or cycling to provide a level of fitness. Always one to avoid weights, gyms or group classes.
When I stepped into the Fitter Future facility I realised they were doing something different. The 2 classes that I love and have helped me become a better old-age athlete are the ‘strong body’s’ and the ‘strength & conditioning’ classes.
Great learning environment, excellent coaching, super supportive members (which makes a big difference for new people) and a FUN place to develop new fitness habits!

We have 3 kids at Fitter Futures (8, 10 and 12 years old). They all love training with the coaches and the other kids, learning new skills and learning to trust their bodies and what they can do for them. They have all improved their HPE at school and in other activities in their lives. 10/10. I also train as part of their adults program and the coaching and programming is pretty close to perfect. My mind and body have improved in ways I didn't think they still could. I look forward to every session.
