Pet Animal Wellness & Surgery (PAWS) Veterinary Clinic is located in Reservoir, Melbourne. PAWS is an Australian owned, locally run family business which strives to provide quality, friendly care to the pets in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. We know how important pets are as members of your family, and we will treat them just as we would treat our own.
Our patients include just about every kind of small animal and pocket pet: dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, ferrets, mice, and rats. Our goal is to ensure the health of our patients by maintaining their physical and behavioural health, and to strengthen the human-animal bond by educating clients on their pets' needs.

Services
Dr Kirsty graduated from the Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Melbourne in 2010, after having already completed a Zoology degree in 2005. Dr Kirsty's passion stems from her desire to make a difference in the lives of people and animals. She enjoys educating pet owners about how to ensure the best health for their pet, as well as helping animals to ease their pain and discomfort.
We are able to provide routine day procedures such as dentals, desexings and soft tissue surgeries, such as lump removals and stitch ups. We have advanced surgical monitoring equipment including constant blood pressure monitoring, capnography (carbon dioxide) monitoring, pulse oximetry (oxygen monitoring), and surgical fluid administration.
We offer home visit consultations, a pick up and drop off service for your pets if they require surgery so we can get them home to you as quickly as possible after their procedure, and you can get on with your day knowing they are in safe hands. We also pride ourselves in the ability to be able to offer you and your pet a home visit euthanasia service.
Our sister company Paws Forever can offer a compassionate and personalised euthanasia service for terminally unwell and elderly companion animals, including dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, birds, rats and mice. They offer you and your beloved pet a peaceful euthanasia without the added stress of having to transport your pet to a veterinary clinic.

What an all-round, great experience, for both my doggie Dora, and I. Such caring, friendly staff took care of us, from when we booked in to make an appointment; to when we walked through the door into the clinic; to the examination, explanation, and treatment we received. The cost of the visit was way less than I expected to pay, which was a pleasant surprise. I would thoroughly recommend visits for you, and your furkids, to PAWS Vet Clinic 😁👍 And Dora agrees!

Our previously vet was quite horrible and did not really deal with my reactive and very anxious dog at the vet, but Kirsty and her team was really lovely and made my dog the most relaxed she''s been at the vets in a while! I have been to PAWS only a couple of times now and they are so friendly and genuinely care about our dogs and their well being. One of my dogs suffer from anxiety and usually doesn’t go well at vet clinics but she was so calm in PAWS friendly and safe environment, I was shocked. They are also very well priced. I couldn’t recommend highly enough!
