WORST HOTEL IVE STAYED AT IN CAIRNS. DO NOT STAY HERE.
Room on first inspection was spacious and comfy with a kitchenette, balcony and nice pool but once I entered the bathroom was quite obvious alot of maintenance needed to be done, shower head dud not work sufficiently to shower, the bathroom door was literally hanging off the hinges as well as toilet roll holder and had not been cleaned well at all. Felt dirty and on further inspection of room curtains and lamp shade stained and filthy and cockaroaches came out of cupboard when I pulled doonas out. Quite frankly I was expecting bed bugs. Then

The staff were amazing! The room however was quite dirty and the person before me, her underwear were still hanging on the door handle unfortunately. The Cushions were badly stained and the tv remote had no batteries lol The window cells were covered in spiderwebs and the pillowcases looked like they hadn’t been changed. But because the staff were so amazing Im going to give 3 stars.

We arrived to an extremely friendly and polite staff. Went up for work and it was located very close to the airport and the city which worked well for us. The rooms are clean and welcoming and all our staffed enjoy the stay at the property. We would definitely book this property on our next trip up to Cairns. Highly recommended for price and location.

My wife and I spent 16 days in Cairns and were so fortunate to have selected Reef Palms. Mr and Mrs Alwis were super hosts , very caring and responsible.
Very clean place and we were provided with all the comforts to make our stay in Cairns so memorable , even during this strange times.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS HOTEL.
Overpriced for a filthy “Hotel”.
Black Mould on all the curtains
The room smelt musty
There was holes in the safety screen to unlock the door from the outside
Smears and mould on the walls and skirting boards
Garbage left on the back fence
Fans not attached to the ceiling and they made noise constantly when they were on.
The manager outright refused a refund for the remaining nights I had booked.
Do yourself a favour and ask to see the room before parting with your cash. I would never recommend this hotel. It shouldn’t have a 3 star rating.

We were welcomed by friendly hosts and found our room easily. There was a nice outlook from our balcony and the location of the motel was very good.
We were disappointed to find our "deluxe" studio was in need of a great deal of maintenance, with several light fittings not working, including one hanging off the wall. I was not brave enough to use the provided hair-dryer as the power point it was plugged into had a huge crack through the switch. None of the crockery or cutlery in the kitchenette were matched pairs and there was filth between the couch cushions. We had to ask at reception for toilet

I recently stayed here for 2 nights with my family. We arrived late at the property but there was no problem in checking into the hotel as we got proper instructions from where to get the keys.
Family room size was good, beds were okay. One of the bed, near the door was not comfortable. It was bit far from AC as well as fan.
From a family room point of view there were less utensils in the kitchen. Also there were only 2 tea/coffee cups.
This property has a coin laundry which was useful for us. Also got sufficient parking.
