Trying to put together a last minute, premium getaway for a family of 4 + 1 irreverent Siberian Husky....can be a daunting task for anyone. Our Husky is a pandemic puppy and well lets just say that she's never been boarded, has a tough time with her crate and just wants to be with the family 24/7. Frankly speaking, we want to her to be with us 24/7 as well as she's such an integral part of the family. Finding a premium resort that suits this family of 5 is virtually impossible to find in New York state. Prior to having our Husky, we'd just find rooms at the Sagamore or Mohonk Mountain house...but

We stayed 5 nights, over Christmas. A true test of a hotel's capacity - and we were blown away. From check-in, to valet, to room service...every single part of our stay was well beyond our expectations. The heated toilet seat, towel rack and bathroom floor were incredible. Power drapes/shades and dimming lights in the living/bedroom! Wonderfully friendly staff through and through. I must add that, for Christmas Dinner, I ordered Lobster Dumplings as my appetizer - potentially some of the best food I have ever consumed. Ever. Thank you for having us!!!

The Adelphi was truly one of the best hotel experiences we have had. The staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was small but well appointed with a beautiful large bathroom, and the restaurant was wonderful. The location was absolutely perfect for anything you want to do in Saratoga. The hotel was not only dog friendly but dog welcoming, which was really fun. Our dog was a star!! I highly recommend this hotel and I can’t wait until we can return!

Everything about the Adelphi is world-class. The staff is friendly and professional, the food is outstanding, and the location is perfect--within walking distance of just about anything you want to see in Saratoga Springs. Rooms are spacious and immaculate, and there's even a library where you can hang out if you want. Finally, the bar is terrific-both indoor and outdoor seating. You can actually hold a conversation and do some incredible people watching as well.

The Adelphi was a dream! Even before we arrived, the staff at the Adelphi were assisting me with reservations for the Roosevelt Spa. Then, due to long hours of driving, I was quite stressed upon arrival, but that was completely changed when I walked into the doors of the Hotel. The welcome by the staff was warm and helpful. The suite was beautifully appointed. The bathroom was gorgeous and so big!! Our room had all of the newest decor and amenities, yet gave my friends and me the feeling of a historical hotel. The couch was yellow velvet! The staff cared about our needs. They were so kind and understanding

The highlight- Staff and service was great! Good vibe late night bar.
Our room was nice but not thoroughly cleaned. The coffee station in the room was partially used, dirt and hair on the floor. Fabulous shower!
Wasn’t impressed with the brunch, wild mushroom crepe was well presented but bland even with minimal chèvre.
My husband said the same about the omelette.
We frequent Saratoga and really wanted to try out this hotel. Likely won’t stay again.

The Adelphi is awesome. The hotel itself is beautiful but the level of service is what made this five stars for us. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay, but the staff at the front desk went above and beyond. They were stellar. Also, this is a very dog friendly hotel. They treated our dog like he was a rock star. He would definitely give the Adelphi five paws!

Wow! Just Wow! The staff and service at the Adelphi Hotel was perhaps the best I have ever received. My Partner and I were celebrating an anniversary at the hotel and the experience was stellar. The staff had our room ready for an early check in with an extra surprise.
The location was top notch and the hotel restaurant was great.
We will make the Adelphi our home for our next visit to Melbourne.

Loved it here. The lobby is nicely decorated, free candy at the reception desk. The room decor is slightly eclectic and yet minimalist. Free snacks and drinks in the minibar which we loved and took advantage of. They also gave us complimentary welcome drinks which you could have in their lobby bar or in your room. Free movies on the TV. We never wanted to leave our room! Highly recommended and if we ever come back to Melbourne, we would stay here again!

I feel pretty torn about my experience at Adelphi. The location is in the very centre of the city and the hotel itself has a great interior, excellent beds and pillows, lovely Australian botanical toiletry products, a free mini bar (replenished each day) and a baked sweet treat left by your pillow every night. What's not to like you ask? The noise, so much noise. This is the second time I've stayed here and both stays I didn't get any sleep because you can hear everything from the laneway which is on one side of the rooms. We loved this hotel. Stylish, fun, convenient. It was our first trip to Australia, and Adelphi's so close to everything. The stadium for Australian Open is 5 minutes by free shuttle. The laneways for restaurants and coffee are two blocks down, as are a lot of other stores and places. The park is not far. Our room was a great size, high ceilings, very comfortable bed and homemade macaroons at night. Being a boutique, the hotel is not gigantic--only 9 floors. However the amenities they have are ones you'll use most: free wifi, free mini bar (!!), great showers & fancy soaps, coffee

Really nice boutique hotel. Was pleasantly surprised several times during my stay with things like free internet and snacks in the room (unheard of in most hotels). And not cheap snacks, we're talking fancy stuff you won't find in the supermarket. A free beer at the bar was nice too, and they make good cocktails. The staff were very helpful and attentive, and the rooms were newly decorated, clean and quite plush to boot. Can't fault anything about this place.

A beautiful dessert themed boutique hotel where the staff made an effort to know my name and the room is full of sweets. Free internet and movies make this place feel like a guest house rather than a hotel. The location is fantastic for theatre and concerts. We walked to Rod Laver arena and Bourke street mall. Plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose form but check out Om nom the hotels own eatery.

The Adelphi Hotel is like the grown-up, travelers version of Willy Wonka's factory. There's candy everywhere. Bars of chocolate at reception, a glass jar full of sweets in your room (which, might I add is FREE and gets refilled everyday!), bon bon shaped pillows and liquorice allsorts stools.
We were there for a conference and every day our meeting room was restocked with test tubes full of jellybeans and plates of brightly hued macaroons - seriously dangerous for someone weak willed like myself.
Sweet treats aside, this hotels ticks all the boxes for me - handy central location

Great boutique hotel in the middle of all the action. For those who don't know Melbourne, Flinders Lane has a lot of great restaurants, along with cafes that serve amazing coffee. The hotel is also close to Swanston Street, one of the main streets in CBD.
My room was a decent size, and upon arrival, it was nice seeing a personalised message written on the mirror wishing me a lovely stay at the Adelphi. The best part of staying there was that all the snacks and drinks in the mini bar were FREE throughout my entire stay. And these were quality snacks and drinks. I've never seen that before

The perfect location for a quick break away. The spacious rooms are decorated with modern art and interesting furniture, with comfortable bedding. Free Wi-Fi up to 1GB/day is a real treat, as is the breakfast menu which ranges from muesli to fry ups to protein shakes. Service is friendly and efficient, but most of all welcoming. A rooftop heated lap pool and Turkish sauna really add a special touch too. Oh, and the Morrissey toiletries don't hurt.
