Stayed here a few nights as we were seeing the Harry Potter show nearby. Think we were spoiled by another hotel we stayed at the previous week, so this hotel didn't wow us with the room or service like they did for similar price. Had requested an earlier check in which they unfortunately couldn't accomodate so we had a drink in the cafe next door then waited until a little after 2pm until we could go into our room.
Good points: few minutes walk from Parliament Station and the Princess Theatre; lots of restaurants nearby; room was very clean; beds and pillows comfortable, powerful over bath shower

The rooms are a good size. The bed was very comfortable. Perfect location for Princess Theatre and restaurants. I wish I had taken the name of the fellow at reception when we checked in and out. He was very efficient, polite and friendly. We arrived late morning Sat 20th and checked out Sun 21st July.

Perfectly positioned in the heart of the theatre district, it's literally a 30-second walk from the Princess Theatre to your hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are modern and spacious. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel, and the kitchenette allows you to prepare your own meals. Or, just walk down the street and you're hit with delicious cafes for breakfast and Chinatown for dinner, all within a 3 minute walk. Excellently priced, perfect location - can easily recommend this hotel, and will be back again on our next visit to Melbourne.

Had everything you need and fairly roomy rooms but I was unfortunately next to the lift and it made a big noise every now and then throughout the night. Chose the hotel because it's away from tram lines. Staff were lovely, room was clean. Just ask for a room away from the lift and it should be fabulous.

Great location. A simple hotel that perfectly serves its purpose: a good base of operation in walking distance of many places to see. Large rooms and kitchenette. The A/C unit is a bit outdated but it works well enough. The staff was very nice, especially when we were leaving, the receptionist saw me struggling with our luggage and quickly instructed one of her colleagues that was nearby to help me to load the car.
