I stayed here in November for the groundwater festival. The manager was extremely rude and standoffish. I had some friends come stay over, they parked in the visitor carpark (completely legal) and he put tow away notes on their cars. the room was filthy, dust and grime everywhere. this place needs new management and a serious overhaul. wish there was an option to give this 0 stars.

Ok .noisy due to poor door and window seals and rusted out frames. Our apartment's master bedroom blinds were not blockout..so bright and also revealing to others if they cared to look...... A few proper efforts and it would be a 4, but pretty important oversights. Lift is rickety and whole place needs a lick of paint

Firstly - calling it a 3 star hotel is a bit of an exaggeration. Its more like a backpacker lodge.
It is possible that other apartments were better, but the Air BnB we stayed in here was a very poorly kept place. This Queensleigh building too is old and a bit decrepit.
The proximity to the beach is its only saving grace.

Good location run by a friendly person. Building and apartments are older fashion (probably 70s) and they have parking for each room. Each apartment is potentially different as we booked two apartments for a weekend and one had carpet, aircon, a different style of shower, a dining room table etc, while the other we had didn't have a/c, was tiled in the living room/kitchen and didnt have a proper dining table.
I recommend this place as it's good value and close to the beach as well as restaurants, the convention centre, casino and the Broadbeach tram station; just be warned that not each apartment

We stayed there for 3 nights at the rate of 120/night, then checked out. However, our flight was cancelled due to Oswald cyclone. We returned and asked if there were still rooms available, and there were. But they refused to give us a room at the same rate because we did not know if we were going to stay more than one night, and their one night rate was 200/night.
We ended up going to Grand Chancellor Hotel - highly recommended, by the way, and the staff was extremely helpful with all our requests - and eventually stayed there for 2 nights until we had a chance to fly back to Melbourne.
