Services
We understand that we are all teachers and all beginners, those that come to lead the classes at the studio do so not out of a need to teach, but from a desire to learn and a willingness to share in their knowledge and passion. We train yoga beginners to do yoga practice. We are all different. We are unique in the way in which we think, feel and understand.
Anybody can practice at Phoenix Yoga. Classes are suitable for the beginner with no experience while at the same time offering challenges to the most advanced practitioner. As a yoga beginner you can attend all classes on the schedule, in fact we encourage you to practice with as many different teachers and styles as possible to become familiar with what yoga is and how it is taught at Phoenix Yoga.
Yoga asana (postures) gives us a structure to allow connection with our individual requirements on a day to day basis by finding focus through breath. No matter which class style you choose to practice, from the moment that you start practicing yoga, you immediately feel better. Your yoga practice should be enjoyed, take it easy, practice your asana so that you feel good.
Bikram Yoga is a sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises performed in a heated room. The postures have been arranged in such a way as to promote and create optimal physical and emotional health. The Bikram Sequence is suitable for everybody, no matter how young or old, whether they are recovering from injury or suffering long term illness.
Power Vinyasa is a dynamic style of practicing yoga, developed to promote health and wellbeing to creating vitality, energising the body and mind. Rather than being a set of postures performed and held to varying levels by the practitioner for extended periods of time, Power Vinyasa is a flowing style of practice.

This place is an absolute transformational POWER house! Kaye has & holds a wonderful space for everyone to come and integrate the magic of yoga, alongside community. The studio is exceptionally large, with plenty of space in the room for practice as well as room to connect before and after class. The HOT classes are the real deal, even if you don't like then heat! The more you expose yourself to the heat the more you adapt and the more the heat doesn't bother you (especially outside the room), but you keep getting the benefits :) If you're thinking about trying it out, go for it & watch your life

I (total beginner!) purchased a 30 day pass leading up to Christmas as an early present to myself (I have always wanted to try Bikram Yoga)!. This studio has a really relaxing atmosphere, and the staff are friendly. I went 10-15 minutes before every class to just lie in the classroom and reflect on the day, which was so enjoyable. At the end of most classes the instructor always reflected with the class on how we should be proud of ourselves for turning up which was nice to remember during the busy season.
Tip: go to the back of the room for your first few classes (close to the wall with the flower

I was in Maroochydore for 2 months and tried a month at Phoenix Yoga Studio, they offer amazing Hot Yoga (Bikram Style) and Vinyasa and Yin Yoga Classes. The teacher team is super nice & welcoming and I really liked all the classes there. Bikram Yoga is definitly something I would love to do every week since I got to know it there, especially in the cold months! It increased my well-being and flexibility a lot in short time! thanks so much!

I enjoyed the class twice in the second week of Jan 2018. I had two very different instructors who both had the participants at the forefront of their mind during the classes. They encouraged, guided, offered adjustments and walked around the class to support.
I live in Scotland, was in Sunshine Coast on holiday and if I ever make it back here, I’ll go back to this class.
Keep up the great work James and Nancy! Thanks.

Anyone wanting to start bikram yoga please do not attend Maroochydore!!! they are rude and can not accept any responsibility!! I wrote them an email and not only did they not respond until i wrote a bad review on their page they just went on the defence and tried to make out like it was my issue even though the instructor was sooo rude!!!
this was apart of their response to me.. 'we accept that your emotions of anger and embarrassment are yours not ours' this was written just after they proceeded to say that they were compassionate!!
when i first emailed i just wanted to let them know how i felt
