The Asanas and Pranayams form two of the most important pillars for physical, mental, social, spiritual health and wellbeing. Yoga in Daily Life's goal is to guide each individual towards the realisation of harmony of body, mind & soul. Happiness and Success is a result of peace of mind and Quality of Life, which is attained through Self-Inquiry Meditation.
The goal of Yoga in Daily Life's meditation technique is to realize the Divine Self (Atma) within. We are part of a Global Humanitarian organisation, everything we do is based upon the premise of giving and serving. All our centres are staffed by volunteers who contribute locally to relief efforts, sustainable living projects, childrens education and animal refuge shelters.

Long ago, the essence of Yoga was revealed in the world's oldest spiritual scriptures, the Vedas. For many centuries, before these texts were written, the Holy traditions were transmitted orally from Master to disciple. Affectionately known as Swamiji, is the disciple and successor of Paramhans Swami Madhavanandaji.
Yoga in Daily Life means 'to practice Yoga in one's daily life'. This means upholding the percepts of the Yoga teachings in daily life', by making positive contributions to one's society, the environment and all living beings. Moments of Divine Bliss. The rest and regeneration you give your physical and mental bodies allows you to archive more and progress on the Spiritual path.
We invite you to take all or half of Friday off work & travel out to Hepburn Springs in the early afternoon to give an unrushed feeling to the start of your weekend away. We finish with lunch on Sunday. As busy humans, we often forget to look after ourselves first and foremost. So, here is a perfect opportunity to take time out and reconnect with your essential self.
Karma Yoga is the path of action. It deals with the law of cause and effect. Each action has a corresponding reaction, on one's body, mind and consciousness. The outcome of an action is dependent upon its ethical value and the intention with which it was carried out. Bhakti Yoga is the path of devotion and love for God and for the whole of creation - animals, as well as humans, and all of nature.
The Ashram is an ever evolving centre of spiritual and dynamic, creative growth, for all who come to it. Being an old warehouse, designed for a specific purpose, the use we've put it to today gives it a whole new meaning. We are constantly repairing, renovating and utilizing what materials we receive, and have for it's development.

My favorite studio even though it's a long drive for me from DC. A more traditional practice than many of the area's commercial studios (this one is nonprofit). The asanas and breathing techniques are peaceful and relaxing, yet surprisingly effective at building strength and flexibility if practiced regularly.
