Had a wonderful steak lunch here on Sunday I love the atmosphere and the fantastic service. Great food, awesome areas to sit and bask in the sun, great staff and quick service would recommend this place to anyone travelling. Our newly renovated Club Bar offers a great place to catch up with friends. On the nice sunny days you can enjoy a drink in one of the beer gardens, then during winter, around the open fire place is a great spot to sit. If you feel like a game of pool then try your luck on the new tables. The TAB is also there for your convenience.

This 5-star review may start by sounding like a 1-star when I say that our first two visits weren't ideal... But as a previous restaurant manager, I must say the way the wait staff handled these two unusual situations (that were out of their control) was impeccable. First visit was the busiest night in history (so there was an hour long delay on our meals), but when the meals came out they were delicious and generous. The staff were incredibly professional and on the ball in terms of keeping us in the loop and also generously comped us drinks to apologise for the wait (without having to be prompted

Had a family meal in the Bistro which everybody agreed was delicious. The meals were all huge and fresh. The menu is on their website and also caters for Seniors and kids. The staff were friendly and the meals came out quite quickly. It's a good value family pub and we will definately be going back again.

We booked for 3 for Sunday lunch and it was my 1st visit there.
Mussels for entree was good but would love the sauce a bit more spicy
I ordered chef’s special gnocchi the sauce was too thick too sticky and heavy to enjoy.
Steak sandwich was tender and tasty. However the chips were dry and hard and we suspect they were reheated from a previously cooked batch.
The roast pork special for the day had an adequate crackling however it was dry and clearly, it had been cooked a few days prior. The accompanying sweet potato mash was nice.

I ordered the Burger and chips and although the burger looked simple in design it was easy to handle and had a good flavor to it. The atmosphere was reasonable and the staff was friendly. From the other reviews it looks like I will need to go here when it busy to give a better idea of how they perform under stress.
