My local pub, atmosphere is good but their food sizing is a bit far fetched, 300gm scotch fillet for $42 and the kids steak is bigger 🤔 ask the waitress if that’s right and she says I’ve seen smaller 😳

Food is great and came reasonably quick. Don't bother ordering on your phone/qr code as things got missed. There is an issue with the system or something. We had to prove we ordered them so we could get the drinks and meal we ordered. Will go again but order at counter.

Went for lunch. All 4 meals were good and at a cheaper price than most pubs and clubs in the area. Also they have beer specials $7 vb pints. Can't go wrong. Will be going back

We enjoyed our meals. They were hot when we got them and didn't have to wait very long considering there were quite a lot there. Good service also.

We had an 11:30 sitting but bistro doors were locked at 11:24. Had to ring and ask for the door to be opened as we had 3 80 year olds, 2 with walkers and one who had forgotten his walking stick. Scan and order at table worked ok until I was told the table was closed with half an hour of our sitting left. Better to order direct at the bar and you will also avoid the charges added to each order which was not mentioned at time of ordering. On a brighter note food was great

Went to Hallam Pub to get a meal voucher as a Christmas gift, seems an easy enough task…. Think again
As a minimum I stood waiting for 40 minutes. I understand you are busy this time of year but your customer service has always required improvement and that was Pre COVID so don’t use that as an excuse.
Let’s wait and see what reply this review gets.

Food was good, not great but not bad either. Always room for improvements.
Food was lacking a little in flavour. Had to repeat our order multiple times to the waiter taking our orders. Even the people behind us could hear what we ordered yet the young man taking our order couldn't 🤷🏽‍♀️
Table service was great. Ladies cleared the table quickly and efficiently before Desserts came out which was so helpful.

Since renovations, the Hallam Hotel has vastly improved. The atmosphere is family friendly and currently on trend in terms of aesthetic. They have a fantastic kids area, although it does lack entertainment for children less than 5yrs of age. The service is fast and friendly. Large variety of food which is all very generous in size and delicious. Have been here a few times in the last few months and have plans to go back again, and again.

Hallam Hotel has the opportunity to be a fantastic venue out in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne; but unfortunately falls far short of all it could be.

Complete with Bistro, Gaming Salon and Sports Bar, 'The Hallam' could be a great hangout for end of working week drinks, general catch up or going to that music gig.

The service is below par and often the tables haven't been cleaned properly and to order drinks/meals in the Bistro, clientele have to go to either the Sports Bar or Gaming area because the 'service area' in the Bistro is closed.

Lift your game, Hallam
