Welcome to Stronger Mind and Body Seacliff small group fitness training where we can appreciate that your goals are unique, and that your progress towards them will be too. Some weeks you'll go all in, giving 100%, some days you might feel like you can only give 50%. Some days you might not come at all.

Services
We understand that everybody is different. Your fitness assessment and consultation will identify your current level of health and fitness and your goals and your progress towards them with monthly check ins. Meet new people and make new friends who are also looking to improve their lives through health and fitness.
Go Ape is a mixture of mobility and strength exercises focusing on primal movement patterns. Leaning towards bodyweight exercises, the aim of this class is to help you improve your balance and core function. Especially for people who experience tightness in their hips, shoulders or lower back, to keep you active for longer.

Steve is a very dedicated and experienced trainer who has motivated myself to achieve my goals after not exercising for a few years. I have thoroughly enjoyed the small group experience with exercises that are fun and personalised. I am very pleased that I am becoming stronger with each session and I now enjoy regular exercise thanks to Steve.

Steve is a great personal trainer. He is very personable. I hadn't exercised in a few years and so at first Steve adapted exercises to meet my needs. He's set up a great, friendly gym space and I love that there is only 6 people per class because it gives Steve the opportunity to observe and correct your exercise technique as well. I have only been training with Steve for 3 months, but I'm already feeling more energetic and stronger.

My husband and I started small group training with Steve 12 months ago and we are so much better for it. We are both leaner, fitter and stronger and we really enjoy the variety of the classes. Given there are 6 people maximum in the class, Steve is able to give each participant close attention to ensure they are maintaining proper and safe form whilst doing the exercises. Steve listens to your goals and helps you achieve them. He often holds little challenges to keep participants on track and motivated and has created a fun and social studio, we have made lots of friends through the group. Highly

Steve has started his own small class groups at the new Community Centre on Kauri Parade. I have returned to training after a knee operation and found Steve to be an excellent trainer. The groups are small but interactive and each session is totally different to the last. He adapts the training to suit each person and provides excellent guidance and feedback. He uses technology well so you can see your own work rate and improvements.
I would highly recommend Steve and training.

It originally took a lot of convincing to get me into the gym, but once I began training with Steve I quickly started to see and feel the results.
Steve is great at tailoring workouts to suit my goals and to target the areas that need developing, and uses a variety of training methods that continues to keep it interesting.
He is always willing to offer advice, suggest stretches and exercises that I can do to supplement my training sessions, as well as providing nutrition information.
It's so good to be training with someone with such enthusiasm, knowledge and a great sense of humour.

I’ve been training with Steve for more than 6 months, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. Some of the reasons are that he has tailored my workouts for my sport, taught me so much about how my bodies respond to stress, he takes the time to find solutions to fit my personal body fitness needs, he’s easy to talk to, is relatable and he knows how to have fun. I am seeing positive changes in my body and my well-being. All it took was some commitment.

Steve takes the time to understand you personally, to work out what you really want and then offers you even more. I expected to improve my fitness but I've also improved my strength, my mobility and I continue to test my assumptions about what my body is capable of. I also enjoy the variety, no two sessions are the same!
