Southend Medical Centre

This is the worst doctors I have ever experienced. I joined this doctors thinking it would be good as people I know are at this doctors but my god I was in for a big surprise. I only had like three appointments here but that was enough for me to move on. The doctors are not very attentive and very dismissive. They seem very careless and not doing the job the way they should which seems to be a common theme during this pandemic. It is so shocking and just not good enough. You sign up to a job you should be doing it properly especially as this is to do with peoples health which is not a joke. The

There is close to zero chance getting any support in case you need urgent consultation... Never had to book an appointment in advance so can't comment in terms of that service, but I have had a bad experience trying to book anything on the day...

Can never get through for an appointment...call at 8am or 12 noon it's the same...but the call does get connected after 9am and 1pm!!!!
Can anyone tell me how to get a d9c consultation especially wen ur ill n have to keep calling..its frustrating n depressing and painful inhuman....

Really grateful to the Receptionist here,for helping me today.Each time I have needed to phone,they have been friendly and professional.

Gp can be good sometimes but when told to phone at 8 for an appoiment can never gegt through and then when/if you get through you can never get an appointment. Some of reception staff are nice/polite but not all

I truly can not rate this doctors surgery highly enough, "great receptionist's who are always very helpful, chatty and remember me". "The Doctors are always kind and take the time to explain things to me, they help me with referrals" and the "Practice manager is very kind and helps with any problems" Thank you

Excellent service here many issues resolved very complex issues dealt with over the past year.
The practice manager Zoe has been very helpful and very quick to sort out any requests.
The reception staff are also very thorough and polite.

Can't praise the team at Southend Medical enough. All of the staff have been friendly and helpful, and Dr. Ozturk in particular has been amazing. Absolutely would recommend this surgery to everyone.

After speaking to multiple people at this surgery I felt the need to leave a positive review.
I recently registered with them and found the process painless (even considering the situation with COVID). The two receptionists that I spoke to were very helpful both on the phone and face to face. They put me on the system very quickly (about 2 days). I managed to book my initial appointment with a nurse and had an appointment over the phone the very same day. The nurse was friendly and knowledgeable.

Just moved to Southend On Sea, had to go through process of moving Doctor for us both. Receptionists very helpful, friendly and understanding. Nurse appointment was easy to book, didn't have to wait long at all for an appointment. Have had to make two separate appointments to see a doctor, both seen same day. Doctor friendly approachable and very helpful. This surgery is by far better than our previous surgeries.
