Our group fitness classes incorporate a combination of weights, cardio circuits and bodyweight exercises. These classes are a great way to get your heart pumping, set in the beautiful seaside town of Sandgate. All of our classes are self-paced giving you the freedom to work as hard as you need. Injuries and limitations are always taken into account and alternative exercises will be provided where necessary.
Our fit over fifty classes are designed for anyone who needs a low impact, safe and gentle alternative to exercise. Perfect for older adults, injury rehabilitation or those new to exercise. We have a focus on building strength and flexibility, balance, co-ordination and bone density. All the exercises we perform are slow, gentle and we do not do any exercises laying on the ground.
Our 45 minute kids fitness classes are designed especially for your 8-12 year old to get fit and strong in a non-competitive and fun environment. We use games and age appropriate exercises with a focus on teaching correct exercise technique from a young age. They will learn how to train their body in a safe and effective way for life.

I have been going to Chew Chew Train Fitness for nearly 2 months. Never been an 'exercise' person, so was a bit nervous about the whole thing. Maddie has made me feel so welcome and caters for all fitness levels....am on my way to achieving my goals. One on one PT sessions are awesome to learn the ropes. Even in the group exercises, she really zones in on everyone's individual capabilities and still gives individual attention when needed. Definitely not your typical 'gym' with the set and forget mentality. Give it a go - you won't be sorry :)

After months of making excuses why I wasn't ready to begin exercising, I finally did and it was the best decision I could have made. Maddie is unlike a lot of trainers I had come across in the past, her unique blend of knowledge, authority, humour and sarcasm makes training at Chew Chew as enjoyable as flogging yourself at the gym can be. Really, it is fun! Often I need to bring my kids, which is no problem as there is a gated play area adjacent to the workout spaceĀ and many options for bootcamp sessions each day.
