Spectrum Gym has been operating since 2001 and is located in the northern Brisbane suburb of Lawnton on 2 acres of land, with a magic ambience in a modern gym environment. Spectrum Gym is about providing an affordable gym and fitness health club for everyone within our community! Spectrum Gym is part of the Spectrum organization, a not for profit community organization committed to fostering an inclusive community.
Stretching is important for people of all ages. Improve the flexbility of your joints and muscle with our stretch class. The class is run by our accredited Exercise Physiologist who will lead you through a series of all over body stretches. This class is for all levels of fitness. A supervised weights based class run by an accredited Exercise Physiologist.
An Exercise Physiologist is a University trained Health Professional with expertise in prescribing exercise & healthy lifestyle advice to treat a variety of health conditions. An Exercise Physiologist will work in conjunction with your GP and other health professionals you may already be seeing such as a physiotherapist to achieve the best outcomes possible for your health and wellbeing.
There are many reasons to get personal training. The Goal of a personal training session will differ person to person, it should be "personal", hence the name. Whether you want to lose weight, improve strength, increase fitness, learn how to do exercises the right way, or need someone to keep you motivated then personal training is for you.
An Accredited Practising Dietitian is trained to work with you to provide evidence-based advice that will help you to choose the best foods for good health and to manage any medical conditions you may have. A dietitian can help to manage a variety of conditions, such as diabetes, heart problems, constipation, coeliac disease, food intolerances, other gut problems and weight issues.

I have been going to Spectrum for two weeks now after about ten years out of the Gym. Health and Fitness is a passion of mine so when my physio said I could go to the gym I was so excited. Shannon had recommended Spectrum and told me that Joe was great. I needed someone I could trust to work with me and my physio because of my Cerebral Palsy. I rang Joe explained my situation and the following week I was in the gym getting a cadio program and the week after that was so exciting because I got my resistance training program I love lifting weights even though we are still in baby step stage. Very helpful staff, positive environment, all the equipment needed to reach your goals and the know-how from staff to use the equipment properly. I recommend this gym to everyone I know. The opening hours are great for my schedule but might be a problem for others. In my personal experience this gym has been perfect for my needs.. 26kg down and muscle tone on its way.
