Services
These apartments have stunning views of the Surfers Paradise beach (opposite), the beach walk, north to the seawall and south to Coolangatta. They have a small north-facing Juliette balcony which provides a panoramic view of the pool area, beach walk, the Esplanade and the beach. In-room WiFi now available.
The hotel has a heated pool which is suitable for a refreshing dive or a nice swim. The pool area also has three Jacuzzi's, a sauna, a steam room and a child play area, which are open daily from 7.30am till 9.30pm. The games room offers several games, like table tennis, pool, air hockey and several computer games.
Chateau Beachside is an iconic property located in the centre of Australia's tourism icon. Not only are we located on the Surfers Paradise Beach Esplanade, but you are in the City Centre of Surfers Paradise. We are 4 minutes' walk to Coles Supermarket and less to major Banks. Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Cartier, Hermes, Prada are adjacent or opposite, as are a Newsagent and Bottle Shop.
Discovering the Gold Coast can be done in many ways. The Gold Coast offers something for everyone. It is not only about the beach, but the Gold Coast offers a lot of activities like rainforest tours, theme parks, shopping and more. Our staff will gladly assist you to plan your day. We will make necessary bookings and organise tickets to any of the attractions, theme parks, shows and other adventures.
We are a 3.5 star property and being a condominium (Strata-unit) complex, even rooms of the same configuration have slight differences in layout, style and furnishings. We do not have room service or porters or car parking attendants and our reception is not open 24 hours per day. We do not have air-conditioning in the rooms, only ceiling fans.

The location, pool, and steam room are what make this outdated hotel.
The views were great in all directions, the staff were friendly, your room will not be serviced until the 7th day, all the facilities are here minus the room air conditioning, but you get what you pay for.
All in all, reasonable and value for money for the location thank you.

The best thing only here is the view and location, which is close to everything. But the apartment has old equipments, guest service can be improved and after paying all that you hope someone would take out the bin for you. But no, you have to do it yourself or pay $25. Thats a let down. Guest service can be improved alot.

It was an old but ok apartment. A bit dirty and reeked of bleach. There is no air-conditioning so the smell was very strong and the heat was uncomfortable when trying to sleep. We requested ocean view so we could sit on the balcony and take it all in. (Make sure you request beach front instead so you aren't put in the back of the building with a side view of the ocean). The "balcony" is a railing against the door that you stand at the door and lean out for the view. Bring your own towel for the pool as they charge you to use theirs. Quite expensive for what you get but you are close to everything

The only good thing about this hotel was the beautiful view! Husband and I got transferred here after we booked another hotel which when we arrived was said to be booked out. The building is really old. The ceiling was disgusting. The mattress was as hard as. A rock! There were these things that lookes black/mouldy on the ceiling we could see when we were on the bed. Would never come back here.

Great location and view (if you choose ocean view) are what you enjoy from. Expect old and kind of not perfectly cleaned facilities (Linens were clean though). Expect no room service unless for a fee. All in all its about the hotel being too old and so behind its rivals in the vicinity but price tag may make you decide else! I'd say we still enjoyed our time there by changing our mindset that it was kind of our only choice given the time we wanted to be there and late booking due to lock-down rules so we missed a lot of options.

Great Location right in the middle of Surfers Paradise with beach views, was perfect for NYE as could watch the fireworks over the beach from our balcony. Pool was great and the kids playground right next to the pool was a hit with our 3 year old. The hotel its self is a little dated and we did have a few things not working in the room such as the bathroom sink light however for what you pay it is still a clean, spacious and comfortable stay without breaking the bank. Would happily stay again.

Chateau Beachfront has been here since I was a lot younger. It appears to have been maintained well over the years. There is secure complimentary guest parking, some undercover, some open, but first in, best dressed. A large, coin operated guest laundry is convenient. Also an outdoor pool and a games room with book library. Our interaction with Reception during our 60 nights at Chateau was always pleasant. We cannot address the hotel's guest rooms as our room 901, is an AirBnB owned unit. The ocean and coastal views north and south are magnificent, therefore Chateau is excellent value for money

The view was spectacular, could almost reach out and touch the ocean you were that close. Close to everything. Room was clean and tidy, not a large room but big enough to comfortably fit 2 people. Only downside is there is no air con. But the sea breeze on the 17th level is amazing. Would definitely stay again.
