Doutta Galla Hotel
The Doutta Galla Hotel (The Doot) has been a locals favourite since 1889. With a proud heritage, retaining many of the original features that keep its unique "Melbourne pub" feel. With state of the art audio, visuals and IT, it enables the zones of the hotel to be truly interactive spaces for events & functions, with the ability to interface with the hotel's music on your phone, making every visit a truly personal experience.

As advanced as the pub is, its core is still the food and drinks. With over 100 beers and 13, changing seasonally, on tap, the Doot's famous teapots and and ever changing cocktails, and a wine list that our management team take great pride in hand selecting. Paired with a classic pub bistro, offering The Doot's legendary Parma and weekly Chefs Specials that have become social media hits.
Services
Open from noon until late during the week, and until 3am on weekends, the Sound Lounge is the hub of The Doot. The beautiful artwork on the walls & ceiling are the best example of what makes the Doot Party Bar a unique space. They are in fact disguised acoustic panels and sound traps that support the 16 satellite speakers and 4 subs.
With a variety of spaces and two function rooms, The Doot can cater for all of your specials occasions and life's celebrations. With menus that can be tailored to your tastes and budget, we can work with you to create the perfect event for you and your guests. Upstairs, the newly refurbished upstairs Magnolia Room is a classically designed three room space which can be booked for cocktail functions of 70 to 120 people.

Buffalo wings were probably the best we've ever had and the steak and parmy we we ordered were cooked to perfection but the side salad was dry and wilted. But I would go back.

Lovely meal. Lovely waiting staff. A Certain male bar staff member could have been less obnoxious. A bit shape and impatient. And abrupt. Hospitality involves being hospitable guy. I hope this give you a wake up call.

It was super busy, nice atmosphere. Although super generous portions it was quite average pub food. I ordered a small parmigiana and even that was super big. Would you guys do smaller dishes so that not so much food goes to waste/landfill?

Singapore noodles were good and they could even do it without garlic etc (meaning very flexible).Nice ambient atmosphere inside and on the corner of a tree lined street! Good and quick service but not consistent amount everyone. Also it would be great to see more vegetarian options. Definitely recommend.

Nice pub. With white lovely decor and an interesting ambience that is very appealing. Great selection of ciders and beers to choose from along with a pretty good wine list. I ordered the chicken burger - this is a must. Sooo good. Dietaries can be catered for. The live music was great and it certainly attracted a good crowd. Staff are amazing and as I always say, they are the ones that can make or break a place. They totally make the whole experience at the Doutta.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly with high chairs available. Pram and stroller accessible.

One of the best pubs is Melbourne
Large, very light and airy
Lots of rooms to try, great old leather seating to relax in. Plus pool to place. Functions room too, which was being used for a Christening at the time.
Fanatic selection of beers, including one of my favourites: Stomping Ground Pale Ale (brewed locally on northern Melbourne)
Food always great. Had the eye fillet steak, cook to perfection with a lovely like pear salad and on the bed of Parmesan based mash potato - very nice
Friendly and helpful staff, who where quick to serve
Highly recommend this pub and thank you
Looking forward
