The food was delicious but the lady who served us was really rude, throwing the cutlery and tissues at the desk madly. The guys at the bar were super friendly though.

Three Crowns never disappoints.
It’s our local favourite when we go to stand-up comedy nearby.
Prices are very reasonable, the portions are large, and the service is always great!
They have various specials most nights of the week, so make sure to check out the blackboard.
What really lets the place down is its toilets, which are in desperate need for renovation.

Nice place. Does a little bit of everything really well. Classic Australian pub style that’s not often found in inner Melbourne. Food good, although nothing thus far has blown me away, but is fairly priced. Staff were very good and the 10 odd taps strike a good balance between traditional easy going beers and more adventurous craft. For me the best pub in North Melbourne.

What a great pub! I went there for the 1st time today as I am staying at a Motel only 3 or 4 min away. The guy behind the bar was so helpful after I asked about the trams and he told me about the tram app to download. It was happy hour (4-6pm) and pints were $7 wow what a bargain! I intend to return there for dinner tonight as when I left I saw a few meals come out that looked absolutely delicious. There is a tram stop less than 100m from the door. This pub is recommended by me!

It's a great pub, with a generous serving size. There's a beer garden out the back, and good week night deals. It's located on the corner of Errol and Victoria Street, with plenty of side parking available. The service is good, and food generally comes out pretty quick after ordering.
Monday - Parma night
Tuesday - Ribs night
Wednesday - Steak night
Thursday - Burger night
Saturday - $1 Wings

Casual low key pub
I was wandering around North Melbourne on a Monday night looking for somewhere to eat and 3 Crowns was one of the very few places open.
Its a basic pub with typical pub food (think giant hamburgers and parmigiana) but the atmosphere is friendly and the tables arent squished together. Waitstaff were nice but very busy so you had to attract their attention for service .. which was delivered with a smile.
Not expensive and easily accessed via tram on Errol / Victoria st
