The dramatic, polished black-and-white floor that greets you in the lobby is the first sign that the Mark is no ordinary hotel experience. Contemporary light fixtures, furniture, and modern art combined effortlessly by designer Jacques Grange give the Mark a sense of cool elegance. The restaurant, by chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, is high-end New York all the way. The classic Upper East Side location combined with the contemporary, Art Deco-inspired design make for an unforgettable stay.

We were at mark hotel for a business meeting. We knew very well the class and how elegant is this place. But they allowed people with dogs next to us. They orderd food and they began to feed the dog from the same plate they were eating. The man at the door was very careful to check 3 times our vaccine but to feed the dog from the plate in front of us it was very normal. Even the waiter helped the lady to feed the dog from the same plate and after he touched the dog he was serving to the other tables. We feel like we were in zoo. Very disapointed for a place like The Mark.

Husband and I stayed here awhile ago. Top notch service all around. Doormen and hosts were memorable, especially the cute brunette from Minneapolis. I think her name was Bailee. She was my husband and I’s favorite! Food is to die for and the employees are helpful all around. Can’t wait to come back next year!

We’re visiting out of town. Stopped by the bar for drinks, there was no place to seat, so the bartender told us there was another bar on the back with another seating area. We did as suggested, walked to the back, sat down at a table. We were approached by a NASTY hostess that told us we couldn’t seat there (ok fine) so she moved us to another table. Shortly afterwards a NASTIER man host told us we needed a reservation and we could only stay for 30 mns. My son tried to explain what had happened, he disregarded him, and told him “I don’t care what happened, you have until 7pm” and then

We were traveling for the first time to NYC from out of town, we didn’t stay at this hotel but sure wish we did — we stopped by the concierge desk to ask for a recommendation for brunch and even though we weren’t guests, the concierge attendant, Vinmoor, found us a spot and even called to book a reservation for us. He was so kind and really went above and beyond for us so much so that I just had to write a raving review about him. What a great guy!

The meals are priced well and when they finally get your Order right it taste amazing but it did take three times to get it right the chef was yelling at the new cook in the kitchen because he stuffed the orders up but I haven't given up on them just yet I'll try it once more and see what comes of it
