Our frame range includes the latest European fashion frames, timeless rimless, classic metal and acetate as well as a good selection of budget frames. Deliveries of new frames and sunglasses arrive most weeks to our Melbourne store, so come and see our latest range. Peter is happy to make minor repairs and adjustments to your existing glasses free of charge.
Please call us on (03) 9510 2045 to organise your prescription lens order (remember to have your credit card and prescription details handy). We offer a delivery service for contact lenses and if in stock, orders can arrive within a day. Free trial contact lenses are available to all suitable patients and we will teach first time users how to insert and remove contact lenses.

Peter had been my optometrist for many years. His relaxed and friendly approach is like having a friend with you to help choose, no 'sell'.
Having had frames, lenses, sunglasses, and contacts over the years. They've been both pick-up in store and delivered and could be happier with the staff service.
We no live out of the city, and still have no plans on going anywhere else.

I had my first appointment with Peter today after previously going to a different optometrist for a number of years. I was very pleased with how knowledgeable and thorough he was. Due to having quite a few unique issues with my eyes, I needed an optometrist that was highly experienced and I definitely think Peter fits the bill. He was also very friendly, as was the lady at the front desk. Parking was easy to find and I parked next to the train station across the road. Overall very pleased and I will be back.

Peter and his team where so very helpful.
Peter was exceptionally thorough with my eye test and spent almost an hour with me, he made me feel like he had all the time in the world.
It makes such a huge difference going to Peter Merrett compared to a typical bulk billed eye examination where you are in and out in 15 minutes.
I picked up my glasses today and Peter was there to adjust them so they fitted to my face perfectly.
A big thank you to Peter Merrett and his team, I cannot recommend you enough.
