If you are looking for a slower, gentler but very effective way of practicing Yoga that will support health and well being as you age, you have come to the right place! It is a very effective movement method that compliments the way I teach yoga or works as a stand alone way to feel better in your body.

My style of teaching caters to middle age and beyond with over 24 years helping people move and feel well. These benefits of Yoga and many others are now being proven by research and there is a large amount of evidence backing up these benefits by science. Yoga Therapy is Yoga tailored to your needs.

Doing yoga online with me means you get a personalised service and a quality yoga practice that is right for you. It also means you can experience the benefits of Yoga from the comfort of your home. At present I am offering both group classes and private Yoga Therapy online. My yoga classes are slow, gentle and suitable for beginners through to experienced Yogis.
Yoga Therapy is Yoga tailored to your needs. Yoga Therapy is ideal for those with health and medical conditions who need the guidance and support of a trained Yoga Therapist. As a fully qualified Yoga Therapist I have additional training to my Yoga Teacher training which has given me skills to apply yoga individually for your particular needs.
Margery teaches weekly classes in Annandale at The Neighbourhood Centre in the beautiful high ceiling, light filled upstairs hall. The classes are a fusion of several styles of yoga and mindfulness practice; Viniyoga, slow flow, Yin Yoga and and Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement. Classes also include of mindfulness meditation, pranayama and Yoga Nidra.
For hundreds of years people from all walks of life have found that yoga improves their mood, reduces anxiety and help them to feel more balance in their body and mind. Science is discovering now what Yogi's have always known is that by developing body awareness (interoception), working with breathing patterns and learning to quiet the mind that our mental health naturally improves.
Research is now showing that Yoga is an effective approach for those with chronic back pain and other musculoskeletal problems. Yoga is about the whole body moving and often an injury is about a pattern not just the particular joint where the pain is felt. Both Yoga and Feldenkrais are whole body approaches.

I have been taking Margie's yoga classes on zoom since the pandemic started. I absolutely love them She is a fantastic teacher. Very knowledgeable and experienced. I have had chronic leg pain for many years. Her yoga class has made a huge difference for me. My legs feel better than they have in years. I highly recommend this class and teacher.

An amazing yoga studio. I am a beginner and Margery mad me feel very comfortable and designed a program just for me taking into account my injuries and concerns. Highly recommend giving Margery a try if you live in the Inner West are of Sydney near Annandale.

Margery is a highly experience practitioner with a background in rehabilitation, yoga and feldenkrais. Margery helped me progress from years of back and neck pain to being able to move freely and participate in other sports I enjoy.
