Services
At our accredited vet clinic, our practice policy is our promise to our clients. We will endeavour to practice high quality medicine and surgery, continually updating our facilities and knowledge and improving our service. We will aim to satisfy the needs of our patients and the desires of their clients.
The adult dog vaccine used at Malvern Vet for distemper, hepatitis and parvo virus lasts for a full three years. This "C3" vaccine has been specifically tested and registered for use on a 3 yearly basis. Not all C3 vaccines last for 3 years. There is no vaccine available for the two most commonly occurring diseases - parainfluenza virus and bordetella bronchoseptica (which cause canine cough).
Malvern Vet Hospital offers desexing for dogs and cats of both sexes. Dogs and cats should be spayed or castrated at 6 months of age (as recommended by the AVA - Australian Veterinary Association). At this age, the animals are old enough for an anaesthetic but still have immature reproductive tracts - ensuring a safer surgery.
Malvern Vet Hospital is committed to making your cat feel at home both day and night. Our cattery is a favourite with many of our clients and its success is due to the safe environment provided for feline visitors and the peace of mind we offer to cat owners when they are away from home. Our large cat boarding facility enables us to accommodate for a large number of cats at any time of the year.
Malvern Vet Hospital offers a specialised dog grooming and cat grooming service to ensure your pet maintains healthy skin and mat free fur. Our veterinary clinic caters to dogs of any size, shape and breed. Regular grooming is essential for both dogs and cats and can be done during any month of the year.

We bought a puppy earlier this year, and have had cause to attend Malvern Vet Hospital several times over the past few months (some routine, others not). Dr Woo is a stand out, he has a delightful manner with our pup and is efficient while being thorough. All our experiences with the vet have been fantastic, the staff are a dream, and the grooming service is also wonderful. Highly recommend Dr Woo and this vet clinic!

My little boy Henry was a patient at this clinic. He passed away on Wednesday night. I want to thank all the staff for looking after him. He was euthanized at the veterinary hospital on dandenong road, but they… gave me advice what to do even when they were closing for the night. Henry stayed at their cattery when I was away and he needed to be looked after. He was well taken care of and I highly recommend this place. Thank you xxxx PS. This photo was taken minutes before he went to sleep forever 💔💔

Unfortunately our beautiful cat Hugo had to be put down a few months ago. We had never been to Malvern Veterinary Hospital but the service was exceptional right up to the point where an unexpected sympathy card arrived in the mail. I know have a little kitten and can’t wait to introduce him to them. You guys are incredible xx

This vet was recommended to me by a friend after we got our puppy. I have to admit that I'm glad that I've picked these guys. First of all, it's in a great location, just past Malvern Central Shopping Centre (towards Glen Ferrie Rd) so it's easy to find, and they have their own parking in the back behind their building. You have to be careful to not miss it though because it is an old house with a sign out the front.
The reception staff and nurses are very friendly and personable. They absolutely love their job and it shows. I've only met one of the vets but I&apos
