The Hotel has embarked on an extensive renovation project, signifying the most substantial upgrading project since its inception over 19 years ago. In order to properly execute and expedite the major renovation, the Hotel is closed for approximately 18 months. Stayed there a couple of weeks ago, really great location, clean but small rooms, which is fine, the air-con wasn’t working and it was 40 degrees, I informed the staff who insisted it was working but couldn’t get them to understand that because it was on there was no air at all coming out of it, spent one really hot night then it cooled down, would not stay there again

Booked a room for myself and husband - made a note on the email which was sent to the hotel 3 MONTHS before we booked in that I needed a rollaway bed for my son — On checking in to the hotel I was informed… that I had booked a double room and I needed to upgrade to a room which would accommodate my son - which would be an extra $350 !! - The concierge admitted that they did receive my email They failed to contact me so that I could make and informed decision whether to make other arrangements or make the decision if I wanted to pay an upgrade for $350 prior to me standing in the lobby
