I love my experience here at the alto I'd like to thank alot of services I dealt with face to face appointments to disagree and agree on how I should be helped and not . Because I'm selfish but not my home it was first and always has been and will my parents house I had to leave in peace and find my piece of comfort due to emotional stuff I'm dealing with still with my sychriatric unit admissions and not living normally like when I was never hospitalized bounded by authorities working as a mental health by doctors who abused my language barrier back then my English was very poor but now I am very

Andrè, Luciana and Daniel are extremely friendly and helpful. They will go out of their way to make sure your stay is as comfortable and as serene as possible. Daniel is an absolute gem of a person that has the kindest heart.
This level of excellence and professionalism cannot be achieved without the proper leadership of Mr.David Doswell, the hotel manager. After spending a considerable amount of time with him, it is safe for me to say that he is absolutely in love with his profession. You can never have any awkward conversations at the reception when he is around. I hope to see them again and

The only thing you need to know about this hotel is it's right next to Southern Cross Station. This is super convenient, as you're connected to the airport though Skybus. It was so nice to arrive in Australia after a 16 hour flight and not have to deal with the logistics of getting to the hotel. The rooms are nothing memorable, but you shouldn't be spending your time in a hotel room while in this amazing city anyway.

The hotel itself is great as long as you avoid getting rooms on the bourke st side which is where the tram arrives. However, we found the hotel manager very rude on more than one occasion. This happened when I used to travel for work. They have a special happy hour where they serve drinks to guests staying at Alto and the manager knowingly offers my sitting place to couple of other guests. The place had my wallet and mobile kept there (which I kept the while I took a short bathroom break) which he later said he thought belonged to other guests. I smiled and removed my belongings to leave the place

We stayed at this hotel for two night after arriving in Melbourne. We arrived at 7 am. The hotel let us into our room since it wasn't rented the night prior, which was appreciated! The hotel is green, which resulted in lights not being on without the key in a slot by the door and no bars of soap/individual bottles of shampoo. Instead there are dispensers on the wall. The room had a small kitchen (which we did not use). Our room faced an alley and we intermittent heard street and transportation noise, but it didn't affect our sleep. The hotel is clean and updated. This hotel in the CBD fills a need. It is a green hotel, where a room card activates the lighting, insuring that lights are off when you vacate the room.
We arrived Saturday night, and our rate was more reasonable than hotels in livelier areas. There wasn't much doing in the immediate neighborhood, but a short pleasant walk brought us to a busy area.
The room was small, quiet, and comfortable. The mattress was a little firm, so I added memory foam beneath me.
Water flow in the shower was adequate. There is a convenient lounge with complimentary tea, coffee, and small snacks.

Room was amazing! We stayed in a 1 bedroom spa room. We stayed with a toddler. She was very occupied with the phone & cutlery which we thought was fantastic. We also got a cot for the room. Even more amazing were the staff. They were so friendly, helpful & most importantly for us, they interacted well & seemed genuinely friendly to our little toddler. They gave us tips of where to eat with our little one & didn't make us feel like our toddler was a nuisance as she can be quite loud. In fact, they seem to welcome it & so I highly recommend this hotel for anyone with young children. I also wanted

Really nice hotel in the CBD of Melbourne a few minutes walk from Southern Cross Station and if the idea of a "green", sustainable hotel is important to you, then the 100% wind-powered Alto Hotel is for you. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet and included a fantastic breakfast in the small hotel lounge every morning. We had our choice of cereals, toasts, yogurt, fresh and dried fruit, juices, and some of the best coffee I've tasted (which is complimentary and available all day). You can also choose from a menu that includes things like eggs and bacon, breakfast bruschetta, French
