Unfortunately we were disappointed. As a first time visitor my impression is that it trades on its location. The milkshakes were small and pretty ordinary, as were the smoothies. The iced Chai Latte seemed to be made out of some sort of powder rather than proper Chai. Didn't try the food but based on what we had not sure I'd bother. Oh well.

Worst breakfast have had for a long time, if not ever
Been coming here for many years, not so much the past year but went back twice the last couple of weeks for breakfast
I've always had the scrambled eggs which used to be great, but now they are overcooked omlettes
The first time I complained and they swapped it, the next time I complained again and was told that's how scrambled eggs are (see my attached photo)
To their credit they insisted I didn't need to pay as I wasn't happy
maybe chef can't be bothered taking care and watching them, or its cost cutting , either way worst egg breakfast

Lovely place. Unexpectedly, I had a brekky at Mr. Brightside’s while I was waiting for my friend and missing breakfast earlier today to be on time. Friendly staff, nice, warm & cozy interior, surprisingly big bathroom like a tent in Harry Potter films.
I got avo on toast with feta and a poached egg on the side. YUMicious but I could use some salt & pepper if it were on the table.
I wish they played the Killers’ song on repeat.
Well done, Mr. Brightside.
I totally recommend the place. The menu on walls. Wish you a seasonal menu.

Sometimes less is more. Wrong music for the clientele & too loud. The menus need to be wiped from time to time, as they were sticky. The large tables in the middle section are made of panels of timber. However there were lots of old food/ crumbs in between the joins & looked very dirty. Price wise was ok & the food looks good in the pictures but lacking flavour- there’s room for improvement! Remember less is more!

I was super excited to try this place and I had high hopes. The staff need to step up their game! When I asked what the filter coffee was for the day, not even the barista knew. I feel sorry for their coffee roaster, how embarrassing!
Once the food arrived it was nice and so well presented, but we had to ask for cutlery, but then I had to get up half way through and ask for a spoon for my meal.
Overall the food was great, but the staff are in need training
